lso same thing for gears 4. and has bin like it sins day 1 preorder.

2 i wood like two request. ( being blunt will speeking my mind pleas dont be ofended ) pleas for the love off all that is good of gears dont re rapeet gers 4 mastak with in hord skill cards. i miss the fackt befor day 1 pach i cod yous eney cards on eney class with a skild teem and get resoltes even if the cards was trash now its stagnent un balentest not fun most of the time what i meen is its ether speed run this glich that sentry this or other i wood relly wood like two ask you pleas two keep all cards valed for a normal run with in hord ther are som vetrens like two do a normal run will mixing it up pleas dont spile it for the boring sluging it out swety hord plyers this is just a voyes two thoes how hate speed runs and yes i now pepol how will only bild dekoys lockers only some with barers this is just a request when balnsing the game out with hord. no strikes

  2. pleas pot a fecher in that consel yousers can chos two per up with pc so if eney one with in ther teem can still play with pc gamers regardless if ther is or is not a pc player with in a lobby or not

8.)mackdonaled wifi pleas can you find a whay for thoes how have a hiy ping two be with in ther one game the hit box ruber banding is a chalench i wich i love but for some pepol it may be a ishow becos of kill streek and or win streek

It´s not as bad as I initially expected. In actuallity, it´s not really changing much for me, otherwise than that it´s a bit too much. But on the other hand, I´m still asking myself what the aim of this was. I don´t feel much of a difference in comparison to the old omen.

That picture looks like emergence from a birth canal. The new omen is awful and completely overbearing how it takes over the screen. If it won’t be reverted, it must be borderless or at the very least, toned down a LOT.

1.) in game chat box ie wold chat/ teem chat dos not work in lobby and or eney lobby tipe same goes with other fechers with in chat the only person how can see it is the person how sent the meseg ! pleas note this fecher is still on going with in gers 4 sins day 1 pre order.

Okay, we played the crappy tech test. The Omen is still atrocious. Correction: it was always atrocious. I didn’t need to play the game to reach that conclusion. But one interesting (terrible) thing I didn’t factor in all this time…HDR.

The Omen looks bad in a YouTube video, but it looks FAR worse in your face on a 4K HDR tv. The colors pop, yes, but so does the red from the screen. I played a game of Escalation earlier today and lost a 1v1 Gnasher fight with someone because I couldn’t see the guy fast enough on the side of my screen. The game has been hurting my eyes so badly, I’ve had to take breaks from the tech test after every few matches.

Between the unnecessary recoil changes, the slower movement and this new Crimson Omen, I might be giving Gears 5 a pass after launch. I can’t imagine trying to play Insane Horde like I used to with my screen looking harsh like that all the time.

For weeks I’ve been hearing these excuses about “oh, it’s a new system. There’s a new rifle meta. We can’t just change the Omen.” YEAH, you can. Literally just put the old Omen on top of the freeze, stun, shock and stim animations you already have. Keep the sides and take out the COG symbol formed in the middle of the screen. Replace it with the Gears 4 Omen within the new sides. Take out ALL of the red and leave the damage indicator in the middle of the screen. Problem solved!

Wait…was the “rifle meta” they’ve been going on about all this time actually just the recoil changes? Lol! Oh, how terrible…

Please take back the old normal omen, Why change something that worked for 15 years? Why you keep trying and fighting to screw things up.

Ha ha. Yeah, it’s quite…immersive. If the red from damage wasn’t so drastic, everything else would be fine. The game goes from “oh so pretty” to “ah…blood in my eyes. I can’t see.” :joy:

How do the visuals look on your new fancy monitor?

I have several monitors and another coming next week :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

But I maxed this out with Ultra and Insane settings and damn it looks AMAZING.

It is a bit on the cartooney side though.

Well, I guess I meant the newest one you said was arriving in the mail a while back. :sweat_smile: Yeah, the game looks pretty good. The only cartoony thing I really noticed was the look of JD when someone got MVP on a match. Maybe it’s an earlier build.

Lag is still an issue though, hence me calling it crappy earlier.

Ah, I was wondering what the refresh rate was. The frame rate (120?) must be buttery-smooth. :sweat_smile:

New monitor will have a Refresh of 240.

Currently on 144/165.

Absolutely smooth as a hot knife cutting through butter :ok_hand:

The reverse omen is not good and it does not help with anything please change it back
