Fastest way for character exp?

i think i did about 25-30 mins and i got 15kish exp so idk it isnt that special as I thought it would be. idk exp of surge insane runs, i think 800-1k a run? Idk tbh lol…

but idk maybe it is good. 30k exp in 1 hour, i did a horde 1-50 master in 1 hour 30ish mins 27k exp.

So yeah need to test more i guess or just think more . unsure how much exp hour u can get with frenzy. (i dont have friends so lol).

Insane Surge is 1,750 CXP in 7 mins.
Incon Surge is up to 5,600~ CXP in 7 mins.
Master Frenzy is 10,000~ CXP in 30 mins.

The only thing faster than Incon Surge is Master Overload Frenzy Speed Run in 10-20 mins. But it’s difficult to find these lobbies or players playing certain classes,

What’s the Incon Surge strat?

Are they boost numbers?

Anecdotally i think im getting less cxp on clock and surge runs in OP5 - I think theyve been nerfed by about 25% pre op 5.

It’s the video posted by Neon Velocity above in thread,

But no entering safe room. No 2nd act. Just run onto safe room tile, outside the door or on steps, pause and restart act. Don’t have to die either. The CXP is based on distance ran, how many tiles. It can be done on Incon Clock or Master Hives without Ironman modifier, But Incon Surge is more reliable.

The tile with HB Drones before safe room is 735 CXP. The safe room tile is 792 CXP, almost 800 CXP. It takes 1 minute to do.

Just look at the list Ektope has posted. I think it’s probably the fastest way to get the CXP solo and if you need more, just wait for a boost weekend like the last one. I did Grace from 1-18 in about 4 hours last time IIRC.

They’re with Boost, yes.

Sounds pretty efficient, but I never see any lobbies running like this or many people talking about it. Thanks for sharing.

The incon surge rate sounds good but I’m getting about half (2500 exp 5 minutes, so 3500 in 7 mins) that despite doing what the video says and getting to the safe room door and restarting. Are you sure that rate is up to date and wasn’t using triple exp? I do have boost, so only 2x exp.

For me insane surge runs seem pretty good as they are easy + give cards and perhaps cards can be used for gears coins or leveling other character cards, so meh. Think I’ll just stick to insane runs based on my examples and horde frenzy is too hit or miss, more often miss. I don’t have a group so to find reliable players in a timely fashion is not worth it imo.

I’d recommend doing it with 2-3 players, so can use custom lobby browser. It’s harder to do it solo, especially no resistance classes like infiltrator. It’s manageable as Combat Medic or brawler with their hp resistance. For example, I’m using gunner and I have Bait armour, Grace period and Phoenix armour for 5 seconds immunity and Stim when revived. Marksman, Anchor, Mechanic and nomad can put on precision / ranged resistance against Markza Hunters. Hunters seem to do most damage.

I think its partly not as many people know; and also alot if people also want skill cards.

Oh yeah definitely, those low resistance classes are better off on insane or multiplayer.

Edit: Removed hypothesis which was incorrect.

About cards, this method isn’t good if someone wanted cards because there’s no cards earned. It seems fine for Level 18 classes which already got maxed cards, or the promo classes. Or if someone just wanted the heroic weapon skins and didn’t care about cards, I’ve noticed most as Combat Medic and infiltrator, probably versus players after the Lancer and Gnasher.

I don’t see how your idea changes anything about running down the left path as the Hunters and Drones don’t just magically abandon that side because you alerted some on the right.

It’s about the XP you gain from the amount of tiles you trigger.

I thought it was just how close you got to the saferoom rather. Different interpretation, I guess.

I think you can do this on other hives too (e.g. The Clock with the Reject spawn) and they will all give you different amounts of XP.

Edit: This is with killing enemies, no kills on both Clock and Surge give the same amount.

I notice you also say “tiles ran”. Does using coles tackle for movement + rolling not count towards distance, thus resulting in less experience? Should I just be running and using traditional movement? Maybe that’s why?

I don’t think that matters. The distance is probably calculated in Unreal units.

then idk why i got less exp. even if I was less stingy and said 4k exp still 1k+ less than being told.
