hi trying to join a friends squad and i get this error message

Same issue here.
I am on PC via Windows beta store and he is on an Xbox One X.
We can play campaign co-op just fine for the last 3 days.
None of the versus modes work.
I will just then immediately get failed to join or kicked by host.
