With more effort put into it each time, also 4 had nothing new iirc.
Beast was the same as horde - PvP map with AI thrown in, but in reverse. Good mode but after mastering or insane-ing each map there wasn’t much left to desire.
Overrun had 3 stages for each map iirc which made things already much more interesting. Nothing like ticker-rushing an entire clueless COG-team in 6 minutes or holding back the Locust at the first E-hole.
Escape ramped everything up. More variety, different encounters each time, more classes. TC didn’t put care or effort into 5 in general, but some people over there clearly cared about this mode.
