As long as MS still owns this franchise, there will be a Gears 6.

I’ve posted this before, but I guess I gotta do it again. Gears 5 was a financial success. Yes it’s got problems but it makes money. Plus gears tactics comes out in April. Gears isn’t going anywhere.

Its a beatiful game with award-winning gameplay and gun mechanics … of course Gears of War will always live.
Its like saying that Contra games are not longer going to be developed … its a game built to last.
Highly likely and TC will be the devolpers.

If you think about it, Escape is Gears 6. In the end of Gears 5, Kait said that they’re gonna attack them. (GEARS 2 PLOT ALL OVER AGAIN). So my theory is that Keegan and them are gonna be seen in the Gears 6 campaign, since they’re experts of hivebusting. This will be cool because maybe Keegan and Marcus would have a leadership issue. Onyx Guards are always stubborn after all.

This is based on Phil Spencer saying it sold better than Gears 5 but there’s a strong case made he was talking about sales + people on game pass. Sales analysts, NPD etc all say it sold much worse than Gears 4 in launch weeks and sales/player numbers have fallen off a cliff.
That said, yes there will be Gears 6.
And maybe the Swarm will resurrect JD or Del and will turn the resurrected one against us.

For ammo have you tried the Locker + Overclock combo? It’s not too bad.
Check that your Engineer understands the value of providing this for the team - maybe they are new to the game.

I get what your saying, but I’m pretty sure they dont release specific sales numbers publicly, so unless he’s lying I’d say full retail prices copies of the game beat out 4 at launch, before gamepass subscriptions. If you got actual numbers I’ll stand corrected
I only make this point so strongly not to defend the game, but just to point out how ignorant people are thinking gears is going away or that Microsoft is taking it away from TC.
We gotta see how hivebusters comic ends first. I have a feeling that they all die. The end of the 4th issue makes it seem pretty grim.

With how things ended for Dom I feel like he will go out doing something heroic too, maybe saving the other 2.
I really do wish they got their own game. It would have had a halo reach vibe I think, that little poem/ passage he read to his son playing in the background as you fought your way through the last hive would have had a really cool impact

You can tell if the game is good or not for you by playing Beta and if the Beta of Gears 6 is like Gears 5 Test Tech, No thanks!

Except for the campaign, which I will still buy as long as the campaign and story remain good.
Did gears 5 make a profit? Idk. Did gamepass subscriptions blow up because of it, I don’t think so. I’m truly hoping there will be a Gears 6 but I’m not expecting it at all. What’s fascinating is State of decay 2 I think launch at $30 dollars years ago. They did everything the community wanted. I mean everything from a fans point of view. The game is thriving. I went back and played with my wife they added so much stuff to the game without a pay wall. Now the dlc that’s coming out is what $10. MAYBE TC NEEDS TO LEARN FROM A OTHER X BOX EXCLUSIVE .
I couldn’t get into that game, plus visually and simple production quality is no where near any gears title. MP bugs and complaints aside, Gears 5 campaign is at a very high production quality, plus it runs at 4k and 60fps on the oneX. That takes time and a lot of artist to produce.
Yeah the visual quality isnt all that but mechanics and in depth menu. Like how gears 3 went into depth with medals and unlocks etc. They built the game from everything positive so SOD 1. All the feedback they took inconsideration. TC did none of that is what I was trying to say. SOD fan feedback ment something. I still can’t understand why TC didn’t build anything off of Gears4. Look how cheap the re up icons are.
