Am I suppose to wait for G6
Which had overpowered rifles, an inconsistent gnasher and insane stopping power even when you were running in the opposite direction. Again people need to stop acting like any Gears game is perfect

That’s the thing everyone keeps saying inconsistent gnasher. I dont give no ■■■■■ about that. All I remember is bad kids couldn’t touch us unless they all rifled with retros. Yeap I agree probably not the best but definitely more Gears than ever. Stopping power is and was the main issue then. Now its Aim Assist and Bullet Magnetism. Yeah yeah I already know, but before it was nowhere near to what we have now. Going from halo 3 to halo 4 proved how much these Mechanics ruined franchises yet it’s still implemented in the game. Funny how there’s a setting to turning it off in G5. I play and stay playing with it off, which is why all they need to do is make that a permanent implementation of the game. Not and option. That’s the joke
Then it be about whether you’re missing or truly hitting shots and I know we got these jokers here who miss majority of their shots and screamed Bull ■■■■ in all the previous games. Never have I been bot walked, Up A’d, and lancerd down after already taking cover as much as in this game. Seriously nothing near it and nothing like it. I can understand why most would defend the game and the Devs, but seriously. AA OPTIONS lol
Stop defending the game let it go gears 5 is ■■■■ the quicker people realise that the quicker Microsoft can hand it over to another company with the few developers from coalition that worked at epic can join the team and tim sweeney was the master mind behind the movement and the cover system so yeah he will make it what we want without the 100 updated that breaks the game. it would be solid.
Yes the trilogy wasn’t perfect but what do you expect it was 10 years ago we’re now in 2020 and coalition can’t get anything right.

Im defending the game because for the most part I enjoy it. Thats fine that you think its ■■■■. But you just prove time and time again you have no clue what you are talking about,
MS isnt gonna hand this franchise to another developer. It would have been a waste of money to buy Blacktusk and rebrand them into The Coalition. What did happen was changes were made at the higher levels. The game has gotten so much better in the short time that they’ve been in charge. Yes its frustrating whats going on.

TC just needs to delete every file they have on gears and start completely over from scratch with Unreal engine 5. I would rather wait 5 years then continue to beta test this bull ■■■■.

The hell you talking about?, Tim (outside of his CEO duties) was just one of the Unreal Engine Programmers(with about another dozen guys).
Cliff, Chris, Lee, Daniel, and Ray were the leads on Gears 1 with Rod acting as producer.
Don’t give credit where it isn’t due, it’s insulting to the guys who busted their ■■■■■ off to give us the first game.

So funny how people forget all the problems previous GOW titles had when they cite them to prove a point. Gears 3 was my favorite, but that game ran like S*** also.
