Lol, this is exactly what “the pros” said at launch of gears 5, lol…

Here’s the thing: no matter what you do, some people will love it, some will hate it, and nost will be in the middle (bell curve, right). So it is normal and expected that SOME players will like this.

The question is, what percentable of the player base that is? And we will never know because they wont tell us.

BUT: if they keep this, that means the player numbers are going “up”. If they end up changing it / revwrting it, we’ll know the player data did no go in the desired direction.

I dont like something just because a company tells me thst is " better" , i evaluate it on its own merits and on how much +I+ enjoy it. And i dont enjoy THIS at all… (THIS being G5 versus. Horde is fine).

I’m not completely saying it’s fixed but it sure does feel better than before at least for me. And I agree that some players cause the lag in matches. Some matches it feels great but when I’m playing players from Mexico my shots don’t hit. It varies I guess and nobody really knows what is wrong with the game but it’s not consistently good.

You obviously haven’t played Rougue company it’s a third person shooter made by epic games it’s nothing like fortnite it’s feels fresh they could easily make gears really good, like old times dark and gritty and gory, gears 5 is just as bad as fortnite with all the Esports skins you have to pay for and the game is not gory anymore it’s a kids game it’s a joke

Rogue company isn’t made by Epic Games. It’s made by First Watch Games and published by Hi-Rez Studios. The only connection it has to Epic is it’ll be released on their online store and it runs on Unreal Engine 4.

While its not as gory as the original trilogy it still has some gore. Also Also Esport skins cost money for a reason. There are plenty of skins in general that are free.

At the end of the day theres really no one left at Epic that had a hand in Gears, let them stick with fornite

I know there is slightly more of a input lag from the original x box one compared to a x box s or x. I stop playing Gears 5 on my original x box around a month after launch.

Most of the feedback on the DP was good. The only issue ppl had was the slide speed I did not see one comment that said they preferred the previous Gnasher tuning.

You’re absolutely right some ppl will love it some ppl will hate it but it seems to me ppl just want easy kills and can’t adjust to players who are just better at the game.

I’ve got used to the new speed already so that doesn’t bother me at all now. It’s the occasional match you enter and the other team have God mode enabled so no matter how hard you try they got the shot off before you every time. This happens to the whole team not just me so it’s not that we’re getting outplayed.

There were more changes regarding the Gnasher from Gears 1 to Gears 2.
Pellet spread for example or that god awful TU6 that made the gnasher a rifle…lol

No ones left at coalition literally everyone jumped ship because it’s sinking useless rhod Ferguson is gone which is good and the lead director of multiplayer has gone aswel that’s not good there’s no one left at coalition apart from casuals.
You’ll like fortnite if you think gears 5 is gory pretty much the same.
Also at epic games Tim sweeney is the CEO so if your a true gears fan you would know he created the game play and the graphics for the trilogy espeally gears 1 so I’m pretty sure he has some Idea how to make a good Gears game.
Coalition are wack you need to let it go and give to someone who knows gears before it’s too late,

Agreed but if you do your research TU6 was to remove the stupid 2 piece. Which added a delay to the shotty and added one shot mile downs, wich yes is by far one of the worst patches ever, but nowhere near to where we are right now. EPIC DIDNT KNOW WTF THEY DID WRONG until GOW 3. Shotty is perfect. Rifles are perfect. Movement is perfect. The only problem is Stopping power. So why can’t TC use this as an example? The execution and escalation community doesn’t exist. Split communities caused by two different weapon tunings killed Execution and escalation. Never have I heard of such a thing until Coalition was given the privilege yes privilege to make a GOW game! Guardian players are still on GOW2. Pros only play because well… they have no other way to make money or fame. “lol” no lie, what does their work resume look like other than GOW. But seriously 2 different weapon tunings? Of course the majority will stick with th easier much more “consistent” well… TC’s Definition of consistency. Once again my game is deleted . And as for me Gears is dead but I’ll still stay trolling these forums. #11 Win s- Execution OUT. RIP HALO N GOW i’m too old for this and I’m only 26. What a shame. Super AA and BM killed gears.

Michael Shannon and Jonathan Taylor are now the 2 leads on this game. They are listening to the community and fixing everything that Ryan and Rod did that the community hated. If these guys where in charge while this game was in development we wouldnt be playing catch up, we’d be in a much better place right now. Oh and Jonathan worked on Gears for years since he worked at Epic. He must be a casual

Yes he created the gameplay and graphics ALL BY HIMSELF. People need to stop acting like Epic made the perfect Gears games. Theres problems with EVERY game in this series. The most consistent thing about Gears is that its been inconsistent since day 1
