Daily Horde and Escape Challenge Map, Modifiers, and Rewards

These are the worst kinds of SCUM. Once, I can forgive, but twice or more? These people can get in the sea.

Bobble Heads and 3X enemy health both being active seriously makes me just want to skip Horde for the day.

Nothing better than bs hitboxes and bullet sponges. My favorite.

Just wanna start a quick rant about this modifier:
first to clarify: I’m playing on a PC and aiming with a mouse and I’m rather good at it in my opinion. I really enjoy playing both marksman and Veteran since I find the sniping in gears 5 insanely satisfying. But I haven’t played marksman in Horde in over a week and a similar Story for Veteran - and it’s because of that ■■■■■■■ “positive(green)” modifier.

For me it takes literally all fun out of the sniping since the hitbox is the exact same but the heads are huge and magnetism isn’t much of a thing. so it’s really easy to hit them literally directly in the eye and “miss” the shot because it wasn’t the actual Hitbox.

So essentially it isn’t moving the crosshair to their head and firing - I now have to aim at their head, take a second to estimate the location of their actual hitbox and then fire. This throws me off and just seems absolutely stupid like this was some indie developer game. I know this probably seems like whining over nothing but I wanted to get this out there to see if I was the only (PC) player that’s insanely ■■■■■■ up by this mess

TL;DR: the modifier is insanely irritating and lazy. they should either remove it or adjust the hitbox

^This.

They need to mark this stupid modifier as red and not include it where they mean to include a positive or neutral one.

That or actually make the hit box bigger so it’s not just flipping air.

Actually the last thing I want is swarm team mates, why would I want to fight swarm with swarm. I have enough team mates try to shoot my drone when I hijack them with jack.

Don’t forget people who chainsaw/retro charge you while hijacking a drone -_-

Does that still cause the vibration function for control pads to bug out?

A while ago if I was JACK, hijacked something and got executed by a team mate it would cause the vibrate/rumble in my control pad to go off and stay like that for the rest of the game. Nothing would get rid of it.

Never have this happen to me lol not this Operation nor the previous ones, lol. When someone killed me I didn’t get the vibration you say.

Didn’t stop you with FFA. Besides it would just be a skin with your characters voice with blue lights.

It should just be an option in any custom lobby. That and bobble heads are the types of modifiers anyone should be able to choose without being tied to a difficulty modifier.

And yes, I’m personally not a fan of either mutator.

So the voice of Marcus in the body of a Swarm Grenadier with BLUE LIGHTS?! Shut the front door!

That’s how it worked for JD, Del and Kait in Campaign New Game+. Except they were Drone Elite, Sniper Elite and Hunter Elite

■■■■■■■ 15k CXP. Again.

Yes! This is getting very tiresome. It would be much better if TC would give players a choice of the rewards we receive. Coins, cards, or CXP. If they want players to play then give them a reason and some have maxed out characters.

Just give either bonus cards or coins. Everyone’s already tired of Lv19/20 characters being completely clueless and underleveled. Throwing more CXP at the issue won’t solve anything.

Another suggestion, how about 2 epic cards instead of one legendary card.

B-but legendaries are more rare - t.TC.

Should be 3 purples actually and even that would only get you so far with certain characters.

WOW another day of exact same sheeeeeeyat!

How many people at this point just need cards or coins?

Why on earth can’t you(TC) even out the rewards?

I keep saying this to people that I play with all the time, that TC should implement a system where you get cards depending on what cards you have on.

Once you max a card out you put another one on that you want maxed out. This will give people a fare grind towards something and also make people play different styles due to the cards they have equiped.

Initially that sounds like a great idea, then you remember it would become another method of a carry, where people whack on 5 cards that are of little use to any team synergy.

CXP and raising the level to 20 totally ruined the game for me for the foreseeable future. So many lobbies with a level 10 whatever trying to get that 15k.

I just played with a level 20 and a level 17 demo and between the pair of them they couldn’t kill a single guardian. Also their bleed was terrible, the 17 was slightly better than the 20!

I’m sure it will be level 22 after op6 and the cycle can continue.

Anyway back to the cards I still think without the scrapping the best way is to stop getting anymore of a card at level 6.

Horde and in particular Escape are dying but what do they expect with a grind fest to get involved or bring friends in. Both are great game modes but the wall is too large. Even though I’ve played and ground for months if they gave everyone level 5 cards tomorrow I’d be happier that the game could survive.
