Might’ve been decent had it been a different range friendly map. Suppose Bunker is still ok but it sits more or less in the average range of dailies for me(better than Bunker and 3x damage though).

I LOVE Overload.
I love recycling mod sets for two days even more.
(We’ve also had Heads Up three times this week… hello TC, why didn’t you put a block on the modifier sets too?)

Id be completely okay if the game glitched and it only gave out the tougher enemies daily.
As a player with randoms, I don’t think I could cope with that, but I could stand to have it more often. There are only 19 modern modifier sets, yet we haven’t seen the Even Tougher Enemies mod set in 55 days (and have this Heads Up repeating nonsense).
Mic drop. ‘Nuff said.
Wouldn’t be the worst way to leave the game. At least we wouldn’t be getting any of the terrible dailies any further.
(I wouldn’t trust randoms to then do well but that’s a decent tradeoff.)
Hmm… well, I think Ill watch the Halo TV series tonight instead then.
The Mod set i love the most on the Map i hate the most
Overload is a classic. I see it everywhere.
Just finished a weird match on Overload. Since host was Anchor (my usual class), I switched to Combat Medic. Also had a Marksman, Jack and Nomad. Things were going well until the final wave with Carrier and Matriarch (same bosses as 8, and Carrier on 4). One of them, I think the Marksman, went down in a corner with the Carrier right next to them, so figured my Ult would be a waste since they were in grabbing range and mostly blocked from getting away. Someone else went to pick them up with the Carrier right there and also got killed. Didn’t see how a third was killed while the bosses were pushing into the base (didn’t see a down in the feed), and the Anchor was grabbed by the Matriarch, leaving me with the bosses and a couple drone types left. Killed a drone and found I couldn’t pick up one of the tags. Went around, killed the sniper and couldn’t pick up the other tags. The circle outline filled in, but it just stayed on the floor. One of the other players quit out, not sure if that could’ve glitched out the tags. Fab was also destroyed at some point, too, don’t know if that might’ve played a role. Rebuilt the fab, but tags still didn’t work. Whittled down the Carrier and killed it. Got the Matriarch down to 30%-40% and another Marksman joined to draw some attention. Had kept trying the tags when I had a chance, and when the other person joined, the tags now had a line through them and I couldn’t attempt to pick them up. Matriarch finally died. Glad regeneration wasn’t on. Someone in the chat had suggested restarting because of how long it would’ve taken me to kill the bosses, which I would’ve been fine with, but was too busy to respond. Considered letting one of the bosses kill me, but too stubborn for that.
Any one know what might’ve caused the tags to glitch out? Player quitting? Fabricator destroyed? Just Gears 5 randomness?
Just happens, honestly. Doesnt make any sense.
I used to think the bug where COG tags couldn’t be picked up was linked to either map elevation features (sort of like how melee and executions get wonky on stairs) and/or enemies getting killed as they kill the player. But it seems to be happening more frequently these days, and without those usual suspicious clues I’d associated with it. I’m starting to agree that it might just be utterly random.
Fortunately in my experience it’s usually just one tag, so only that single person (occasionally it’s me) has to sit out the wave like old school Horde. I’ve never seen everyone get glitched like that.
