Yes but they had a long time to design the multiplayer and it’s lacking basic balancing, or deliberately inaely noob like mechanics, that have been creeping since gears 3 have entered.
There really isn’t any debate, what they are doing is making weapons much easier to use across the board in many different ways (think spread and per damage pellet of the ghasher).
They need to go way in the other direction, not a minor tweak but many major one’s to even have a chance of being as good as 1/UE in terms of Multiplayer balance and fun/stay ability.
I haven’t seen them say anything about balance, just server stability.
