Sadly Cole would be in pieces,
Whenever I used his ultimate/it was on scions/to rescue DBNO gamers.
Scions can be dealt with by luring them into choke points and DBNOs have to wait until you’re done.

You can hit scions with the torch tackle punch, dive backwards and jump punch them again. If you time it right they won’t be able to do anything to you. Then they die and you get full HP and stim and still keep you 50% resistance from your ult.

Works well if the Scion is alone. Would not recommend attempting if it has an escort such as Grenadier Elites and to then fight from range or try letting others deal with it. Sometimes not even a Kait can handle it properly if a Mulcher Scion keeps getting shielded by 4-5 Bastions over and over and over every time one is blown. Well, if you’re not playing a low difficulty setting.
And tackling a Scion to death doesn’t seem 100% reliable. Some will charge at you, while I found Mulchers and Ice Scions will occasionally decide to fire at you rather than melee when you roll back to avoid their hit.
Or you can just run melee immunity and stand in their faces while laughing at their punches and kill them at your own leisure.

In Horde Cole is useless past Insane. Not useful in Inconceivable and useless in Masters.
Cole is great in Escape however.

Cole, is the strongest character.
I can tank master all the way to wave 50 with him.
Inner fire + sprint damage resist = 90% damage resist.
Perk up + Regen near fire enemy cards combine to give 300% health regen speed at max. As long as you plot your tackle course well, you can legitimately tank master with cole.
He is the first character capable of tanking the entire wave all the way to 50, minus some bosses.
This is extremely powerful, as it removes an extreme amount of pressure from the team.
As well, he requires no investment to be strong enough to kill the first 10 waves, or the rest of them at that.
