I’ve got both characters almost maxed to lv4 but I’m still not 100% certain on what would be there best card lineup
Has anyone maxed out Clayton and cole and what would be there best skill card lineup?

Once I get Cole to 18 this is my plan:
Why is it that I can’t help looking at his junk moving around…Bhahahaha
For Inconceivable with More Health off, I liked to use:
Clayton
Cole
When I tried Master with More Health on, these cards might not be effective, especially as Cole. Might need to change around card setups but still could test and experiment. Escape by the way. I haven’t done Horde much yet.
for cole i use haymaker since you can stunlock scions with it if you get the rhythm down and my other 4 are damage dash +inner-fire for 90% dmg resist when sprinting (and 50% at any other time) as long as i have ult up, perk up for obvious reasons , and for my fifth i want to use defensive tackle but it’s not currently able to be acquired.
basically i play him as a full rush in tank and it works really well, i can even solo incon on a few escape maps and go to 30 in solo horde and unlike others i like to turn damage off since i play him full tank i’m nigh impossible to kill outside of boss waves
i’ve also found out a couple of nice mechanics involving cole’s tackle to make him actually unstoppable. You can IMMEDIATELY roll after a tackle to reposition yourself and in some cases can roll back to be able to tackle an enemy again.
If you’re tired of mantling instead of tackling if you hold the analog stick opposite to the cover the enemy is on as you’re sprinting cole will not mantle and instead follow through with the tackle,
On a slightly different topic, I’m told that Clayton’s Reflect Shredder card doesn’t work at level 2. Can you confirm if it starts working if you upgrade it any higher please?
I have it at Level 5. It didn’t seem to work in Horde or Escape. No bleed effect.
Thanks for that information. That sucks. If that’s the case I’ll just upgrade my card anyway in anticipation of it being fixed but won’t actually use it.
Cole Escape -
Perk up
Torch Tackle
Damage Dash
All the glory
Play with fire
Cole Horde
Perk up
All the glory
Play with fire
Pyromaniac
Inner fire
I like shooting things and seeing them burn. I really hope the Scorcher get put it.
Also Ive just been awarde the epic score boos card, and a defensive tackle card (+10% stim on tackling) - I was getting this by default - I thought it was a case of working as intended. So is this Coles first nerf?
Inner Fire (50% dmg res) and Thrashball Pro (60% melee res) makes Cole invincible to Warden, Scion and Juvies melee. It totals over 100% melee res at 110%, so he’s pretty much immune at point blank.
I’ve done Detour and walked amongst the Juvies, that looked like fans. I’ve done Gauntlet and stood in front of Scions and shielded Warden. He’s awesome and a good strategy for Master.
Immune at was Difficulty? Even up to Incon/Master?
Yes, but only to melee. When Ult is ready.
Damn. Reminds me of the Regen + Health boosters to Scout. I remember with Lvl 5 Cards, I was introducing my friend to Horde so they were level 2-3 Soldier. We played on Normal and when we got to wave 10 we were given a Kestrel, so I walked right up to it and the AI must’ve been confused, watching me eat bullets for about ten minutes before my friend was convinced I wasn’t hacking.
Do you know what happens when you play with 2 carmines? Does the damage reduction against heavy weapons (lvl14) add up? It also counts for allies.
Does Sole Survivor for Clayton trigger if everyone else is DBNO or do they all have to be dead?
Just always run sole survivor and encourage TC to NOT MESS WITH IT
Is reflect shredder worth using and keeping at level 1?
I’d say so if you keep it that level for now.
