If the anniversary celebration comes after the anniversary, is it really real?
Christmas on December 26 seems weird.
Low expectations are key for not being disappointed, but this is like expecting something for a birthday and being told…tomorrow…maybe.

Also let me finish the cobweb set too. We’re missing out on the final weapons skins of that set as well.

I’m one of them. Definitely seen at least two different players using them. The last time I played several Escape games with them and saw them use the Longshot and Markza.
I’m gonna judge their anniversary plans when I see them, is all I’ll say.
I’ll go with that.
The build up has been a let down though if we are being honest with ourselves.

I saw these in game too, they exist, I’ve twirled them around, TC just need to release them onto the store for purchase.
It’s embarrassing for TC that at this time, almost at the first anniversary, they haven’t released the full basic eSports skin set. Gears 4 did it so much better.
The accidental releasing of it is just an insult as well, you’d think they’d have learned from Kim, Sam and Sraak.

In 4, we got whole complete sets with each pack.
In 5, they started to split them and can’t even keep on top of what’s been released & hasn’t been released.
The fact that they’re ready to go, had an accidental release & TC haven’t bothered to actually release them, is honestly very amateurish.
How can a franchise grow when the devs are so incompetent.
Sometimes can’t believe it’s supposed to be a world class Dev backed by Microsoft when things like this can’t be done right.

Amateurish is a very good word to describe the whole announcement, advertisement and continued support of Gears 5. All of it, right back to that seriously disappointing E3 2019 show.
Dribs and drabs of random skin sets just screams a lack of organisation as well as very poor communication between members of the TC team handling content.
If only they kept an electronic log of what they’d learned from Gears 4, after letting Rod use all the paper copies for a mediocre Family Bonfire night display back in 2018.
