These were released but then pulled within a short amount of time, for whatever reason, but almost a year on and the Chrome Steel set still hasn’t fully released in its entirety.
I’m sure many people would like the final 4 skins to complete the set.

One year and TC can’t seem to figure out the whole set hasn’t been released.

Just realised, today is the actual anniversary. Boy, TC sure went overboard hyping that up.
I honestly wouldn’t expect anything until Monday(and it is technically still the 5th in Canada, not that it really matters), and something for that week or maybe on the 10th which is where the full release was for everybody, not just those who had early access(although really, everyone probably could have if they used the 1$ GPU offer).
That’s optimism.

Can you imagine any other big game having suck a weak 1st Anniversary.
We should be getting maps, characters, skins, events, whole host of content & definitely the return of Emblems that are animated!

Not optimism, strictly speaking. Just saying how I expect it to go. But I don’t have many expectations, if any. Maybe we’ll get an XP boost or more free Boost, woohoo. So excited.
First they need to make them visible elsewhere than pointless things like the MVP screen(which is only in Versus anyway). Like I don’t know, that convenient scoreboard like emblems were in Gears 4.
They really need to make the Reup icons better. They’re barely different until 30+ and even then they look a bit meh. I guess the 50 one serves its purpose as a collector’s badge but really, still not seeing many with it.
Even though I like the game, if all we get is an xp boost, I may delete it for a while out of principle.
Well all I know is there’s apparently more to come, but no maps or characters. So my expectations are kept low.
If the anniversary celebration comes after the anniversary, is it really real?
Christmas on December 26 seems weird.
Low expectations are key for not being disappointed, but this is like expecting something for a birthday and being told…tomorrow…maybe.

Also let me finish the cobweb set too. We’re missing out on the final weapons skins of that set as well.

I’m one of them. Definitely seen at least two different players using them. The last time I played several Escape games with them and saw them use the Longshot and Markza.
I’m gonna judge their anniversary plans when I see them, is all I’ll say.
I’ll go with that.
The build up has been a let down though if we are being honest with ourselves.
