According to the game, my shotgun bullets deal no damage at all. how do you think i feel?

The only thing I wanna say since I am inside this topic is that this tech test is f’ng things up in the current game(4)… So many different issues happening at the moment.
Practice makes perfect. It is slightly different and takes a little getting use to. But once it clicks youll be back to ripping heads off.

@OP, as far as I know there is no aiming assist in versus, so perhaps thats your problem. Stop counting on it and starts practicing your movement and aim.
@everybody else,instead of making fun of the guy, maybe try to help them? Assuming you all want more people playing this game, its probably not a good idea making people afraid of playing because they feel they are stupid or incompetent.
There is in core, but not comp modes. So Koth has aim assist and Escalation does not.

There is no “core” and “competitive” in gears 5 anymore, right? Just Ranked (KOTH and Escalation) and Social (Arcade).
I hope aiming assist is for Social only. I would be surprised if this aint so.
@OP, I dont know which game modes you play, but turn aimjng assist of and start practicing (a lot) when the game comes out
It says in game that Koth is core and Escalation is competitive tuning. The only difference is the aim assist.
TC has also stated this on the dev streams (that I know not everyone watches).

When the game comes out there will be the option to turn off aim assist.

As far as I recall that was going to happen post launch according to Ryan Cleven’s twitter.

I think it was about a week ago that people asked to be able to turn it off and Ryan seemed surprised that people would want that option, so looks like TC have only very recently decided to create a toggle.

Yeah. If it wasn’t so aggressive I wouldn’t mind it.
I think I know the answer to this,but aim assist is only for hard aim right? It doesn’t help you when hip firing, does it?
That I don’t know (I play on PC with mouse and keyboard rather than controller).

I play gears 4 and tech test on pc with controller feels same as xbox never noticed difference in

Hopefully TC releases details about the aim assist as i don’t know its an xbox + controller only thing.
