Can someone confirm please?

TC posted that Uncle Clay card has been disabled, correct? However, I’ve got a message the other day that it’s still working and double/ triple Clayton glitch is still happening. Can someone confirm this? I didn’t have a chance to test it myself.

Also, there is talk that Daddy’s Boy card is broken too and works with everyone not just Marcus. So 3 JDs get almost 100% damage resistance. Is that true?

Should be answer enough to that.

  1. @CommanderCH2863 has tested or at least said on the forums that that’s also a thing and suspects it may also work with Grace’s skill that should only work with Sarah Connor.

All of these assumptions are correct. (Minus the fact that I tested it)

Gotta love 4+ JDs in a Horde match…

I’m disappointed

But I hope not surprised?

Nothing can surprise me these days.
Oh, wait, if TC does fix these. I’ll be very surprised.

Surprised at how they didn’t really fix it but tried to sweep it under the rug like this: the announcement the card was disabled, the Clayton glitch changed to say “fixed” on the Trello board, the forum moderator here announcing it was patched and abruptly closing the main thread about it. Did they really think no one would try to use the card again just because the text field got blanked out and everyone’s telling us it’s fixed? And that no one would say anything? It’s an insult to our intelligence.

It looked to me that there were fewer lobbies on Escape over the weekend asking to do the Clayton cheat, so I suspect some people DID believe TC.

I know of some people on my friends list who still haven’t mastered a number of Escape Hives, and I’d have thought they’d be rushing to do this using the Clayton glitch. I know they read the updated patch notes so they would have thought (at least initially) that it’s been disabled.

Maybe that was always TC’s plan? They always knew that such an exploit couldn’t be fixed without a TU or significant work behind the scenes so just outright lied. I mean, “suggestability” is a real psychological concept, and it seems TC used this to mislead people and to divert them away from this exploit/cheat amd it seems to have had some success.

For those not familiar with it, “suggestability” is basically where we are influenced by external suggestions. This can occur in a number of broad ways. We listen to certain people and are more susceptible to suggestion than others. For example we may be more susceptible to suggestion if it was a person in a position of authority (e.g.: a doctor or a police officer) or certain people jn our lives we may trust.

Hilarious

Sort of like how I tell all my students that the first exam of the semester was random for everyone, so don’t bother looking at your neighbor’s paper…

Only, grading random exams in harder than a single exam, so for that first exam, they are actually all the same

After that, I would admit to them there was only one exam. Then the second exam WOULD actually be random, but some people still wouldn’t believe me… guess what happened to them? :upside_down_face:

At least, that’s what I did when I taught face-to-face. Now that I teach fully online, I let Blackboard do randomized everything for me :+1:

I’m just doing Daily Objectives now and that’s it. There are just too many things wrong with the game to warrant playing. I’ll do the new Hive next week and come back properly when Operation 5 launches.

Have been doing the same for the past op.

Probably will need another update after op 5 because they will mess up with another thing.
