That’s rlly weird. Horde must be pretty good. I think gears 5s horde is a bit better tho IMO.

Gears of War 3 looks great. I re-visited it this weekend and it was good.

Hi mate, conversely I played two games, Slab and Escalation and had awful.connection on both games, I will try again later.

Problem with PvP is you’re still going to have bad netcode and dropped packets galore. We’ve been spoiled by dedicated servers and modern visual fixes to hide latency. Gears 3 is a game made 10 years ago on a console with 512mb of RAM.

Visually it’ll look really upgraded and should be phenomenal on modern TVs for campaign or Horde, but PvP is harder to enjoy after all the improvements we’re now used to.

EDIT: No. No it is not. Lost all my Gears 3 data though. TOTALLY WHAT I WANTED.

I recommend performance. Graphics will still be fine.

I’d definitely not recommend anything other than the appropriate consoles.

Come on mate, you can’t use all these excuses… Poor connection, broken controller, broken headset etc :joy:

We should have another game some time. I plan to have a 3-6 month break before gears 6 launches - unless they do a road to gears 6 thing.

I never really played 3 - i will have to give it another go.

And yeh can hop on whatever gears you want, possibly weekend or little later in the week as I’ve just moved into my house so I’m inundated with crap to do after work :sleeping:

Only been doing the daily hordes and escapes when I can be bothered. Then the occasional quick play. Don’t think I’m even at 1,000 versus eliminations this “operation”

To me it was honestly kinda jarring. The way the legacy games ran was sorta cemented in my brain, so seeing it otherwise was a bit funky.

It’s plays fantastic problem is the servers aren’t on this game anymore so the lag at times is unbearable.
