Update:

In the past 5 days, every time I tried to start the game, it put me through initialization - brightness, safe zones, Boot Camp, et cetra. It does NOT have my profile or game save. When I quit from boot camp, there’s a 50% chance of GW502.

This shouldn’t be what a normal game or a normal cloud service does.

Ok so Im on act 1 Shot in the dark, and I know Dave is supposed to fly through this little hole to open the door. Nope the game is still playing music like enemies are in the area (killed them all) so it won’t let Dave open the dang door.

Another thing to add to the list is that the components don’t fully refresh/respawn on the world map when u hit a certain part of the game. I had to restart Act 3 multiple times (got 60 on first run, 80 on next , and 147 on the third) …just lets us keep the components

Glad I beat the campaign as soon as I got the game. Just before the issues started I got to the final chapter. Sorry you guys are having issues.
I hope they get better.

The only thing stopping me from my seriously achievement is the campaign act 1 chapter 2 will not unlock on my stats for completing it I have joined co-op and hosted co-op but never shows I completed that chapter. I wouldn’t mind but it’s the shortest easiest chapter in the whole campaign .it doesn’t even show that I completed that particular chapter on any difficulty. Any suggestions?

Played through section II, way past the lab level. This game just sent me back to a seemingly random save point, after you find the skiff but it’s before you start on the skiff and that’s multiple HOURS of gameplay lost. WHen I reached out to “Gears of War Support” about the issue, they responded ONCE and then IGNORED ME. This is what they said:

You people have made an unplayable game. Thanks for wasting our time.
