it is fixed with the collectibles! just did a chapter and all collectibles are there
I experienced the same on that section. Iām on PC using AMD Radeon Rx 570, the crashing stopped after I updated the driver.
it was fixed for me and now same problem again after chapter 2 collectibles got the problem again other chapters no problem so weird this :S

I have been trying to play the campaign (solo) since there is MP issues going on & have had it where the game becomes completely unresponsive (playing on a xbox one S) I will be moving around the level then somehow out of the blue. I canāt move, canāt open any menus, or do anything.
Truthfully this is a bit crazy MP is broken & even the single player campaign is broken to.

Right now for me the game crashed on act 3, thankfully the entire system didnāt freezed like Gears of War 4 on PC. I played with GTX 1070 and Ryzen 5 1600 with TUF B350M-Plus Gaming Motherboard. All bios and drivers up to date.
Seriously what happen with TC? Promoting the game with the latest technology and bla bla bla but this kind of stuffs happen yet.
I had game pass ultimate both and tried the game also on my Xbox One. Obviously I wonāt buy the game after this. I was pissed off with Gears of War 4 with crashes and freezes and again with Gears 5? no thanks.
only problem i have had is that we ,im playing 3 player campaign ,always have some one booted when we play , it happens to all 3 of us at different times , then the other two freeze and we get kicked to a loading screen
Can confirm, lost all progress, haha, what a colossal waste of life thanks to this garbage.

I canāt get by act 2 mission 4 i keep getting stuck between the log going for the skiff why is that?
I cantāt play it anymore either, it does the Saving Progress which never finishes then I press Home button it freezes and my controller doesnt work after every other level, the xbox frrezes too if Iām not careful how I Quit it. Idk I have to wait and play other things. I was only going to play the story but I canāt do that, is this story online or needs it like if the server is down will it not save?

Jesus Christ. Does anything actually work? TC are an utter joke.
I am permanently stuck in Act 3. Fahx spawns out of bounds and instantly dies. Resetting the game does not fix this.

This happens more than often doing this on insane and literally having to repeat section in the snow map where you get mini bosses inorder to get jacks upgrade is Horrendous. After continuous attempts just to get restarted to a earlier point in the game ruins the flow
Also stuck in Act 3. Am on Chapter 1 unable to ope hanger door am stuck on Saving Profile, When trying to open the door am on a loop, Kait goes to open it then drops out. Have tried starting from checkpoint, Restart last check point., even tried restarting the game.
Iām having issues with the campaign too, multiple times i have had to restart the game because the game would not progress any further and i was stuck and was thinking i was missing something, so on a few occasions i would restart the check point and i could go through absolutely fine.
ALSO does any one else have the issue where the game closes itself after a certain period of inactivity? i have the physical copy of the game and 2 times now i have paused the game on campaign gone away for a few minutes and come back and i will be looking at my xbox dashboard and i will have to boot up the game again, i have lost progress when this happened and had to start back where i was 30 minutes ago which is annoying.
There are also points where it would say checkpoint saving but it would never go away and you wouldnāt be able to progress in the campaign. This is a beautiful campaign but it has never had these issues in any other campaign.
Is anyone else having theses issues?

It doesnāt work offline
Iām on act 3, had every collectibles apart from 1 which I tried to get from a previous mission but I got locked inside the mission with no enemies or objective. I was literally about to go walk through a door to act 4 once I had that collectible

Dude donāt even get me started on that. The one with the pouncers is a complete joke on insane. One quill hits you and youāre dead but combine that with 2 pouncers and barely any safe areas is ridiculous.

Same thing with me regarding collectibles disappearing. Components are there, at least as far as Jackās progression goes, but no collectibles are able to be seen and appear lockedā¦thatās if the rotating gear ever stops loading. It also constantly disconnects me from being onlineā¦even though my xbox one x says I am onlineā¦so, they shouldāve worked these things out in the aplha and beta stages before having us identify these problems after it pre-releases.
