I totally agree with you. I’m not playing the campaign again until it’s polished, bug-free and playable from start to finish without game-breaking issues. Furthermore, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate should be a way to experience great first party games earlier, not some kind of beta testing program.

Did you get it worked out as your game working now?
While playing as Jack during the campaign sometimes he gets stuck on objects and sometimes you can’t use your abilities at all that’s happened to me quite a few times
Just picked up the upgrade module on act 3 from the pump station, but game wont register it. It’s gone from the table after I grab it but then it acts as if i just left it there. Cant progress. Tried several times now 
I died twice with no explanation, also several times I was runing and the charactes started just falling and falling, and several other things.
The games is ■■■■■■■ broken the damn Friendly A.I is the equivalent of DOG ■■■■ some Ps2 games have better A.I Than this ■■■■■■■ game I love gears my favorite franchise out but this game has a lot of problems and potential the campaign is fun when it works an when the A.I actually do what they are supposed to do I hope and pray they fix the A.I and that campaign why make a longer campaign an it not work 
but I agree MP for the most part if fine and fun to play so stick to it until this problem is fixed
(Xone) Act II - Oldmine, Only blackscreen, the HUD working. Reloaded a few times nothing, than I installed on PC to give a try, maybe it’s fine. Nope still blackscreen.
3 Patches later still broken, components wont spawn, cant pick up some upgrades this is a mess

I just bought sekiro Thursday. Haven’t touched gears since. Might as well play something else if mp isn’t your thing. I play the mp but like I said I haven’t gotten off sekiro.
This exact thing just happened to me. Made it all the way to the very end of the level and was forced to go back to the Cosmodrome, where I’m now trapped. Lost hours of my life on this game.
I did the cosmodrome level early and then found posts saying dont do this. The game would only allow me restart at the very start of Act 3 but I did this to avoid any future problems. I have to redo cosmodrome but hopefully all will be OK
The organisation of collectables in chapters in Act 3 are a bit strange - not really open world
I did not like the difficulty spike at end of Act 2 - I had to drop to Beginner to finish the Act
I dont understand Relic weapons - I can collect them once but then they disappear. Why is Gears inventory so weird?
There was a difficulty spike? I only had an issue with the matriarch because it kept snapping out of the water and killing me instantly cause of the jump. And what do you mean it confusing? They’re powerful variants of the other weapons so of course its a one time only thing. Unless you drop them the only time you lose them is at the end of act 3.
Yeah, I just gave up looking for solutions and just started a new save from the start of Act 3. I basically did a speedrun and skipped side stuff until I stopped seeing the desert, and by the time I had gotten to the “epic” climax of Act 3, I was so burned out I couldn’t even enjoy it.
I’ve decided to take a few days break from Gears 5 for a few days before I start Act 4.

Likewise on a break. No need to rush in just having Game Pass - the old way of waiting before committing time to a new game is better.
The game still broken, I played both Xbox One and PC version and I the game freezes and crashes. Recently on Steam version I bought yesterday I got BSOD, this is what BlueScreenViewer shows:
At least Nvidia replied me, but TC must be aware of this problem and work together with Nvidia to fix It.
On Xbox One the game suddenly closes Itself, so I’m not the problem or my PC, the game is broken, no matter if is on PC or Xbox One.
I haven’t gone back to it in 2 weeks now.
I have been playing the campaign on insane in coop and in act 2 the game has just stopped saving progress at all and its undone like 5 hours of progress then we ran into a glitch where my partner couldnt equip a weapon making us have to restart

I can’t pick up upgrade modules in the desert, in pump station side mission? What the ■■■■ ? And in the water tower? Driving me mad
