Gifting…what?
Inventory? Made more sense in 4 where the inventory was more like an inventory and not a catalogue.
Iron/Scrap? No TC won’t do that it’d be unfair to some players and make it harder for them to sell Iron.
Being able to buy a skin and send it to my wife would be nice.
Microsoft store allows you to purchase a game as a “gift” and send it to any gamertag.

True but in that case just purchase Iron and send it no? Although I don’t think it’d work anyways I remember trying to buy Siege Credits for mine and it didn’t work.
Never considered that possibility, But what would that mean for the skin on your end?
People managed to accidentally scrap Black Steel characters in the past, I don’t doubt that they could end up accidentally trading a TOD skin or store-exclusive skin and be screwed.
I didn’t necessarily mean a full trading system. Just a purchase as a gift option. I wouldn’t get it, she would. Can’t gift iron either.
Anyway, this is unimportant. Certainly not something to waste manpower on.

Yes, itd be awesome to gift a skin or maybe weapon skins n stuff. Would be good for people who host tourneys, “winner gets this skin”. And to give to friend as well.
Or you could give your loved one a MS gift card for them to buy iron . Solved.

Other MS titles like Halo 5 already have gifting as an option. You can buy MTX’s and send them to friends as gifts. So I’m assuming OP means gifting things like boost, skins, expressions, etc.
