lol i remember telling this guy every stream that there should be some grindable way to earn prem currency so that players feel rewarded. constantly said “no”. here is he saying “we didnt have this discussion, maybe it wouldve been different”. Yeah you never opened it up for discussion, just fake discussions where “ok, i understand you, but im not doing that”.

also explains why this game was so terrible at launch and beyond for a good year. this guy loves hyper bouncing zoomer gameplay knee jerk reaction gameplay.

Wall bouncing is legitimately dumb as fun as it is for 3% of gears players but 3 %ers arent laying the 97% of the missing revenues. You can go be dumb somewhere else I suppose if you can’t type more then 3 words. Men are discussing the future of gears here.

There is nothing wrong with bot walking, bouncing, roadie running etc…

The idea you think it needs to go away is just not right. Its not going away and I’d prefer not to play an even more boring game. You want to be bored then go play fortnite

The developers can’t be supported by 8 angsty people who can’t move forward though. I’m right get over yourself, it needs to be changed of gears is going to have a future (it was never a big thing in gears of war 1-3 it wasn’t a useable as easily or in the same way) I wall bounce all the time, but it’s not the only thing about the game that is fun. The majority of players don’t like wall bouncing, the majority of forums users (which is still less then majority of actually players) does usually prefer wall bouncing… the idea of arcade was to bring in more casual players but I think the fact that wall bouncers also still play arcade pushes away newer players and so gears of war will remain a dying franchise if balance isn’t found.

Talk with casual gears of war players and fans who play the campaign etc and not pvp, ask them what they dislike about pvp, you guys are what keep them away plain and simple.

This update only got rid of the last 1% of players that are all babies and kept a big portion of the fan add away :rofl:. The numbers for the new update are the wall bouncers they balanced the game around, don’t be dumb.

I don’t think you’ve been paying attention to TC’s health… but again… you like the update & im happy for you…

I’m not trying to Bash TC either. I care a lot about this Franchise. But I’m not going to agree with what they do just because I love them…

To add, wall bouncing was fun… hyper bouncing was exhilarating… those players who complained, which I rarely even saw, did so because they didn’t even attempt to try to hyper bounce but if they did they would fall in love with the adrenaline surge… I promise you…

BINGO … and this has been going on for a long time now , the biggest issue is the DEVS and this goes back to EPIC , try to please one side , then a different side ■■■■■■■ so they make changes to suit these people , so the orginal ones ■■■■■ ,changes made to suit these people and so on and so on , instead of just making the game and saying take it or leave

Getting rid of wall bouncing in it’s entirety would be an awful decision. It is an integral part of the Gears of War experience. It would be like getting rid of flying in Rocket League.

If you’re argument is to get rid of wall cancelling, that is an entire different discussion. But even then, I don’t think it would be in TC’s best interest to even get put a stop to that.

I remember my very first PVP Gears of War 1 match on Mansion. I was a complete noob and I vividly remember the players on my team talking mad ■■■■ to me as i added very little to the team and was getting destroyed. Here i am 15 years later still working on my skills. Gears got this far based on what it did best, being different from the rest of the pack. Honestly, for a lot of us its the skill gap (or was) i should say that kept bringing us back. Gears was and has always been a hard game to play when it comes to PVP. It should stay that way IMO. Wall bouncing is one of the foundational tools that sets gears apart and makes it unique. The more play styles, the better.

Bro, if you’re unaware, the game has lost atleast 100,000 players due to wall bouncing tuning issues since the start. Either because unhappy with it or it got changed. Honestly, I’d say more than 100,000 since the games release. 8 ppl is alot btw considering theres probably only 100 players per ranked playlist now.

Has call of duty made drastic mechanical changes? No. Is it still one of the most played franchises that’s been around for the same amount of time? Yes. Your statement is irrelevant. Go play another game as opposed to ruining the game because you cant compete at a skilled level.

I know more about gears of war then you, I also don’t care about the update because pvp and hyper bouncing really aren’t special. There are better games for pvp and they don’t need dumb looking mechanics to be better pvp games lol.

Call of duty is a basic fps, I played since day one when there was no sprint button, you couldn’t wall run or use jet packs, call of duty HAS ALWAYS been making small changes and trying new things. Even their damage values also have changed, I assume you haven’t been playing call of duty since cod classic lol.
