I’ll tell you what though, that tattoo is pretty sweet. At least I give you credit for that
So you need to get a tattoo to prove how loyal you are ?
4 me yes exclusive is where I sit. but I don’t do the TC program because I do not create content or a social media accounts on Gears or a pro player but I am a big fan to that crowd of hard Gears fans that are involved in all of that I do love there work. Optic Gaming is my team
Can’t be as bad as me. I have an Alpinestar A tattooed on my leg. Seemed it was pretty fitting seeing as how a pair of their boots kept be from basically breaking my foot off one time. Lol
Awesome! That’s all I have to say!
All I could think of was body mass index for a moment… lol
Now, I’m not knocking him for doing it - when two parties walk away feeling like they’ve got what they wanted then that sounds like a fair deal to me. The artist did a good job on it at least.
But yeah… it’s not loyalty - it’s a transaction, literally in this case, made with blood…and the cost of the tat of course… and having to explain that he didn’t get a raspberry flavored ‘The Thing’ from The Fantastic Four to everyone who asks about it for the rest of his life.
yo he can be happy about it for sure it’s his money but that doesnt make him more loyal than somebody else who loves the game now if he were really loyal he’d have every achievement now THAT’S a loyal undertaking
I’m at 49% completed and it’s been about 2 years now. I didn’t even finish the campaign. I hit the elevator part and I couldn’t bring myself to sit through it to be honest… The last thing I did was launch a swarm drone into a door… like - he melted into the structure of it but was still moving until I gibbed him. I realized it was the most interesting thing that had happened in the game for me.
I laughed a lot, recorded the clip and then happily didn’t touch campaign again.
(I’m not gonna be cashing any loyalty checks
)
What you ride?
Everything honestly. Street - Dirt - ATVs - MX - XC
Raced nationally off and on for almost 20 years.
Had a top 50 National number more than a few times on an ATV. Never was very good on a dirt bike tho. Too old and fat now to go do it anymore. waiting on my little one to stop wanting to ride horses to put her on a Steel Horse lol
Each to their own but it is still madness to me. Only reason I commented on this on this thread is because you claimed to be more loyal because you got a tattoo (edited your original post I see) which rewarded you with a Swarm Imago. Honestly you are who you are and you do what you do but (I am an oldish gamer) playing a game for skins and characters is not loyal and it is most certainly not veteran. I am not trying to take this away from you or anything but if the need and or want for skins and characters is what makes someone a veteran or loyal then I am putting my controller away.
I know of people who got Gears tattoos because of what the franchise means to them. Some people say it’s how they met their best friends so the tattoo encapsulates brotherhood. Others say the game saved their life so they got one to remember that, and to be thankful to the game.
So in the future, when people ask you “Why’d you get that tattoo? What does the Gears series mean to you?” your response is gonna be “Oh this? I got it for exclusive skin lel. Now where was I? Oh yes:
‘Characters we need in Gears 4’
Jace Stratton (Last seen in Gears 3)
Prescott (Last seen in Gears 3)
…”
You’re actually insane bro. Don’t think I’ll be using the character ever again.
worst part of all is when gears 5 comes out it’ll all be for nothing and that’s why i’ve stopped caring about new skins in gears 4 at this point
Lol idk but this makes me cringe…
You know your just a puppet to TC, right? Even though they gave you praise on twitter. They’re off laughing their @sse’s off at you for what you just went in did…

its his life let him live it its not yours. Nice tattoo after all. If you want ti be judgemental take it somewhere else just appreciate that someone has a higher love/commitment to the franchise than you
So because I don’t get a tattoo, I love the franchise less? What? He’s more committed than I’ll ever be to getting exclusive characters, but please, don’t try to say he’s more committed to the franchise.
Well go get the tattoo to then
That’s just a dumb way of thinking. Let’s use sport as an example. You support a team for 10+ years, you never miss a game and go to them whenever you can, have all the merch etc. Some guy has only watched one game in his life and decides to get a tattoo.
By your logic, he’s more committed to that team. Again, like I said, that’s just a dumb way of thinking.
