Itās as though you ignored most of what I said after registering I disagree with you.
Itās common sense that titles will go on sale for Black Friday (and nowhere did I say 50% is normal. In fact, I said the opposite).
Again, while this game had huge issues on release and continues to suffer, itās also common sense that if you want to avoid the worst of it, or make an informed purchase, you wait a few months.

The state of the game at launch was an absolute disgrace. It was an insult to all paying customers.
But thatās this gen all over. And Iām sick and tired of it.
This ānew normalā that everyone seems to accept now is an embarrassment. Dev and consumer problem. Any other industry would die with such poor quality.

Itās true that games go down in value. But not 50%off in its first 3 month release. That means the game is crap. No one is buying or playing it! Now itās a fire sale! If itās a solid popular game it slowly goes down keeping itās value for a while. But Not this title! Lol

Discounts of 50% or more started from the second month.
In the facebook groups several people commented that they bought Gears 5, new of course, between 500 and 600 Mexican pesos, which is equivalent to 25 and 30 dollars.
In fact in amazon is at 28 dollars for almost 3 weeks.
The new CoD is $38 for Black Friday almost 50% off and that game just came out

Wait till after black Friday. Then look up COD price. Gears 5 is Gearing into 19.99$ LOL I paid 60$ for an unfinished bad gameplay game. At least give me a kiss before you screw me!

Even if the game launched perfect weād still be seeing a price drop for a black friday sale. People will always complain just like last year when people were on here complaining about TC putting up BS characters for Black Friday sale
