“I think TC is doing a good job trying to fix this game, and it would be helpful if all of you were more constructive”

“What now? Are you kidding me?? Go back to Plebville”

“Ok ok i’m sorry…I’m brand new to this game”

“Ohhhhhh…now it makes sense…ok sorry…give it like, a month or so”

Hey OP it would help if you actually spelled the words out instead of taking shortcuts. It’s really hard to understand when you can’t read it fast enough, trying to decipher all the shortcut words instead of reading your message.

Anyways as a player who’s a big fan of Gears and wants it to evolve into something better. They pretty much have been rehashing modes and ideas from the prior of games. In Gears Judgment they took a risk and it was one I liked because they truly innovated Gears but they messed up when they made it COG VS COG in Versus. The only mode that truly felt authentic was OVERRUN because it was COG VS Locust.

In Gears 4 they had a smooth direction but again rehashing the same modes and nothing innovative besides Horde. I like Gears 4 and it’s okay to have staple modes in it but I think Gears needs some new modes that will have players say now this is different and they might actually stick to it if it’s fun. The RNG system was not liked but we can understand why they implemented it to make some money.

Gears 5 my first impression when I played the Beta was that it was great but you knew it had connection issues. Then it launched and players looked at the skeleton roster and felt ripped off. Horde was locked with certain characters with certain abilities, I like horde and it could’ve been better but obviously that was not the way to go. This game has lots of problems with guns with shotgun not firing like you would expect and some rifles are overpowered but we adjusted to what was given to us. Escape was probably the only thing innovative and I give them props for that but we need new modes. OVERRUN would have been a great addition to play and something else that is not just shoot and kill modes for versus.

I think even being able to race with the skiff against other players would be a nice mini game or the motorcycles in the woods like in Gears 4 Campaign. Or shooting range challenge against other players. Just thinking outside the box I love to be creative and put ideas out there.

If anyone has ideas throw some out there I’d like to hear about them.

That’s like a good case too sue for food poisoning and getting compensated.

I don’t see compensation coming here.

yeah I’m hoping for the same @IVIUrKxIvI4N that in OP5 things could get fixed and also more maps could be added…

I think that this describes a lot of what looks like hate or rage here.
People care a lot and when they don’t get it then the frustration gets magnified by their passion.
A lot of people here on the forums have some exceptional ideas and some very valuable insight and would’ve been gone if they didn’t care.

Gears of War its a matter of passion , just like playing chess, in my humble opinion this is the best community all around

this community really deserves an exceptional Gears of War 6 without a doubt.

A lot of people here definitely care both deeply and passionately and most of those people get their point across (both positive and critical) with intelligence and respect.

However, passion should never be an excuse for why someone is being volatile and abusive, and in my opinion the constant slamming of the devs and communication teams need to stop, it’s toxic, unproductive, self-centered, and childish.

Criticism and feedback are a lot harder to listen to when you’re being personally attacked in the process (as both an individual and a large company).

So yeah, Gears 5 didn’t have a great launch, it was unfinished, and very buggy, and it definitely felt like the devs were not listening to their core player base at the time.

The new team are (definitely) listening and it’s up to us to be patient but keep giving productive feedback, as not only does the new team need time to settle in but they also have external forces to deal with that the previous leadership didn’t.

Edit: corrected spelling

I agree that people need to remain respectful and constructive.
From what I’ve seen there are some people (many I think are young) that don’t fully understand how to use their words towards a positive outcome. In fact you could lump me into that simply because some of the things I’ve wanted like prioritizing server stability over nerfs - I haven’t always been too understanding when they gave us nerfs and left the servers brittle.

I know that they’re people and that they may have forces beyond their control impacting what and why they do things but in my human fallibility I might just miss the opportunity to state or restate my case constructively.

So like I said - I agree with you that people should never be disrespectful or toxic. Everybody needs to have empathy for the difficult problems being addressed. Everywhere that I’ve failed to heed that though - maybe I can get a nugget of empathy too. I straight up couldn’t see how nerfing STTE was more important than server stability or the chainsaw bug or 20,000 excess score boost cards and I might have been angry then. I may take advantage of Gears being down long term to try and get a life

Well then, what do you want me to do about my GT, sir? I’m not paying $10 to change it again, and my only alt is another TC troll…

The less bootlickers, the faster Microsoft takes action to fire those incompetents. In every other Job those who aren’t useful are fired, But keep defending TC.

Not true at all. I’ve had the same incompetent coworker working with me for 2 years. Smells like ■■■■, dumb as hell, no business having a job anywhere but McDonald’s. Yet he’s an electrician. So no, incompetent workers aren’t just fired.

In fact, in today’s market, it’s hard as hell to fire someone.

You’re very right. My theory on why he even still has a job with the company is that skilled blue collar workers are so hard to come by anymore, they’re praying he turns into something. But I knew the guy in high school, and I know he isn’t going to amount to anything but someone for everyone else to yell at, deservedly of course.

Edit: I’m getting off topic. Apologies lol.

That’s usually the case. Upper management thinks it’s cheaper to deal with the person than let them go and risk hiring someone even worse lol
