I think maybe you have been too hard on the LsD, and as such need to think about what you are saying to others. You are overly opinionated to the point of ignorance.
And, i did read that article, i found it on the level of “Bullying”, and remotely offensive. I believe there is a thing about that in the agreement with the Forums. I would suggest you calm down a little, i mean, we would not want to see you on a break, for some unknown reason.
I have my opinions, you have your opinions, and in no way have i insulted you, the closest i have come to insulting you, was by insulting your intelligence with your precious Custom games. And yeah, i understand what you are saying, just do not like the way you are saying it.
It does not take a genius to create a Private game on Horde, nor does it take a genius to realise Horde is a Team based game, what people do on the game effects others.
I am not a selfish player, if i think something is wrong, i will tell it. And at the moment, i thing the Bleeding Barriers is wrong, it changes the game, people are exploiting it, getting lazy and making a damn mess.
This sums up victim mentality so well.
You don’t have to be affected by it. I’m not “Bullying you” I have no clue who you are. You might have never been exposed to the viewpoint of victim mentality. It’s a well known staple in the psychological field, and I thought bringing it to your attention might help you reflect.
I expected you might throw that in my face, by playing the victim, so be it. I tried.
The option to avoid the playstyles you don’t like is there, you are no victim unless you choose to be man.
Bairds barriers are supposed to bleed but there not supposed to be heal when they get a kill.
Where does it say in his perks fences cause bleeding? Cause I don’t see it. This wasn’t something TC intended to happen. It’s a bug and because it makes horde really easy some people want it to stay.
honestly if you don’t want to see these type of tactics maybe Master and Inconc not for you
you need to speed those up cause of the grind
Beginner - Advance is for you where can play more relaxed IMO of course
I lol when I see a beginner lobby asking for lvl 18’s lolol what man
I feel the most relaxing way to play horde is after you’ve cleared a map on masters. Open a lobby and turn on everything except double health, double dmg, enemy regen. Enemies die fast, claws don’t drop you instantly till 40+ and bosses don’t regen. The first 4 mods are the most devastating as far as difficulty. If you can clear 50 waves with those on you can pretty much clear a masters run.
agreed, when I host a lobby I turn off extra health and health regen keep rising cost cause by wave 25 the base should be built I’m assuming ofcourse I have atleast one Kait or JD for the bosses I won’t start my lobbies without one of them
Interesting that you draw the line here. You’re glad to see the back of that one, yet you’re in support of Baird’s nonsense?
Yep, fully agree. That’s just what people are gonna do, and if an individual can’t bring themselves to host their own style of match or find it for whatever reason, well, maybe those difficulties just aren’t for them.
Also there is a concerted group of players specifically playing the higher difficulties without these methods. @Timmy_Gun_88 @Slipping_Flames just to name a couple. If they want to play high difficulties without them, and not hosting, hit up these guys and do your best. If you aren’t good enough, ask questions, improve. No one is a victim here, yet so many are acting like it. Shaking my head man, lol
I’m not necessarily in support of it as I’m at peace with people using op things for the sake of ease now.
I thought I explained myself pretty succinctly on the other thread.
Basically, Horde 4.0 offers more ways to play horde than ever before. You can sleep through it, challenge yourself, run around the map on a custom mod setup with reckless abandon, etc.
I don’t like that some people here want to have certain avenues of playstyle effectively removed for their own selfish benefit of not dealing with it.
I play the same game, I don’t want to deal with the barrier spam, so I don’t. I join lobbies that don’t do it or host.
You should be agreeing with me. You literally host your own games to avoid the playstyles that are too easy, and we’ve agreed many times on the sentiments behind that decision. It’s the same here.
Let people play the way they want, and each individual should seek out/create the experience they want. Why the desire to take away playstyles you don’t like from other people is getting so much defense here, I’m sure I’ll never know, but I don’t stand for it.
I will argue against it because I disagree with people shutting down the way others are playing by arguing it is affecting them when it literally does not have to. They have a way around it, you do it, I do it, they can do it too.
and I know I appreciate faster games on higher difficulties cause i’m playing for the purple cards at this point with my characters the possibilities on those levels is still crap but non existent on lower levels
I dread reaching lvl 14 with characters cause that’s when you unlock the useless epic score boost and it never fails I get duplicate of those before I get the ones I actually use
Wolf take down this victim nonsense your spoiling a debate about a hot topic in the game at the minute
How?
People are using the argument that it is affecting their ability to experience the type of horde match they want to play, and I’m pointing out, quite accurately, that this is victim mentality. Seems relevant to me man, and I thought I explained it very well.
They don’t have to call for changes to something in order to find a different type of match than the ones where the team is using it. That’s simply factual. Several players here already employ the mechanisms available to avoid the playstyles they don’t like, and I can’t for the life of me see why that isn’t a valid option for these other individuals unless they are stuck in a victim mentality. Again, it seems to be the point the discussion is at and perfectly relevant.
I am legitimately not trying to be disrespectful about this, but I am calling things what they are.
It’s not a victim mentality its pointing out an almost game breaking mechanic oversight
I disagree, simply pointing it out, is pointing it out.
Pointing it out and supporting the argument for removing it by saying things akin to “It’s affecting my ability to play the game the way I want” is absolutely exactly victim mentality.
For the record, I avoid it. Just fine. I wouldn’t have an issue with it being fixed, but I have a major issue with things being changed just because some people don’t know how to avoid it affecting them when they are perfectly capable of doing so.
You shouldnt havnt to avoid a game mechanic
Don’t be ridiculous, that’s literally everything in life.
You avoid what you don’t like, and participate in what you do.
You don’t force people in turkey to stop crapping in the street do you? no, you just don’t go there if you don’t like that culture, same concept man
@jmelia123 On this occasion the mark is being overstepped…posting something like that wolf…is downright insulting…it should be taken down…but iv experienced first hand how some on here are allowed to operate…by different rules to others…with nothing being done… @Useless_At_Halo is right…its his opinion…you have yours… but back up n think before you post…cause its plain disrespectful imo.
Same here. I felt my explanation was reasonably comprehensible but much of it seemed to pass you and Slippy by without acknowledgement.
Yes, it’s a great time! What, 127 possible combinations with the Modifiers? 15 fabulous characters to choose from. Loving it.
I’m all for that! So much scope for gameplay customisation! Enjoy your custom lobbies people, I know I do
Okay, okay, here is the crux of it. This is where we veer off: I do not consider the removal of game-breaking bugs to be synonymous with ‘taking away playstyles from people’.
With the correction of the level 3 barrier glitch for example, I had no thoughts of people having their preferred style of play being robbed from them. Instead I saw it as the developers upholding a duty of care to their customers; removing an obvious blemish in the workings of the game mechanics.
Sure, except we don’t know if it’s a bug. I think that’s where we disagree.
I’ve mentioned many times that I thought this might be a legitimate mechanic, as devs tend to have a trend to add op things to draw in players/customers.
Most likely they will nerf it about the time op3 comes to make way for those characters being op.
Roger that
Yes my argument all hinges on my conviction that it is indeed a game-breaking bug.
I remember. And I said I think you flatter them!
Well that is some relief. I was getting a bit frustrated there feeling like people could not understand me.
See you lot in Horde, smashing heads in.
