Nothing easy about yesterday , horrible jump to re-up 20 to re-up 40 , insane night.
Then i have to stand heroic Marcus all night , game didnt let me change character at all sometimes it random switch it some other character , when i was playing swarm side it force me to keep cog character , so others keep playing good swarm skins i have to settle m f anya character .
I won’t buy Gears series anymore as long as Coalition makes.

Yea that’s my guess, they introduced a whole new umm blanking on the name lmao but instead of the common(green) rare(blue) epic(purple) and legendary(gold) they added the new red one (heroic I think?) So makes sense to milk some more for that… plus you already have an Heroic Myraah that was leaked same time as Kantus that we don’t know anything about yet… plenty of other characters I can see them end up doing too.
I can’t see it happening until a new Operation though, so they can add the achievements… granted they can do an update and add those anytime, but that seems to be when they do.

Well I’m pretty confident with Gears 6, I’m satisfied of TC, they know they didn’t did a good job with the 5, and to there best trying to change a lot of thing that the people complain about, of course it take time but, I guess is normal doesn’t look much but it’s probably a massive amount of working behind screen, and by the way thing start to move up since Ferguson left so…

There was no LEGIT way to fully re-up before this week’s update. Even the most dedicated players are just around re-up 30.
You willingly grinded for this ill-designed system and now blame TC for making it better?

Well, in his defense no one “knew” things were going to get easier to level up until more recently.
But yeah, I play PvE fairly often since launch, probably 1-2 times a week, and I was still only re-up 23 (now 46).
But I’m never “grinding” another game, and Gears 5 showed me why: As it was, to get to re-up 50 under the old system, I calculate I would’ve had to play this game at my current rate for 60 more months, 5 years! Lol.
It’s just not fun.
I think a reason for the change is that Gears 5 is coming to end of life now and they looked at their stats and probably thought…oh 95% of people that play this game are below level 20 and will never get to see the skins we have made…or something like that.
You couldn’t be more wrong with this statement. I hit reup 30 probably 6 months ago completely ‘legit’. No first blood LE farming or Cronus max. Reup 30 isn’t even hard to get to if you play master escape and horde. And, let’s not forgot they have hadsome crazy XP events where I didn’t even play gears or was max level already
Also, I’m not defending the old XP structure. Just stating that the most dedicated players could have been well into the reup 40s if not max level legit by now.
This is how TC does everything they simply do not care about their most dedicated players. They never will. They will keep getting random new players to screw over.
It’s like they don’t play games themselves and reflect of what they would feel if it happened to them.
If you find another game that you like, switch to it.
Because this company will not change. I seen them screw there players over so many times.
No other company has accomplished the art of disrespecting there players so much as this company has done.
That’s why I play Cold War, Overwatch and a bunch of single player rpgs now.
Most dedicated players… aka the ones who only played master Horde or Escape with boost 24/7. What about the most dedicated PvP players? The only way they’d ever dream of hitting reup 50 is by playing 13 hours a day till Gears 6 released.
Hell even I play this game quite frequently again since OP4 (took a break when Guardian was removed) and was only sitting at reup XXI with 23 days in ranked and 22 in horde.
What’s your point? I only need to provide 1 counter example. He said even the most dedicated players are reup 30. That was incorrect. Reup 30 was obtainable as well 40 and most likely even 50 legit. He didn’t stipulate pvp.
And I will reiterate that I’m not defending the XP structure. It was the most ridiculous grind I have ever seen for a max level grind. I also think the new XP structure is dumb. It is way too easy. I could go from lvl 1 reup 0 to max during this 4xp weekend.
