Audio lag when using wirless xbox one controller on PC

When I try to play Gears 5 with an xbox one wireless controller and my headset connected to my controller the audio lags every other second and I practically can’t hear anything in gears 5 while all other audio works. If I play the sound through my TV (leaving me unable to use my mic) the sound works fine.

I’m making this post because I have no idea if TC even plans on fixing this issue. every other game I have does not have this issue just Gears 5.

I have the same problem with Modern Warfare. I believe it’s the fact that the wireless connection for the controller is too slow to render the audio quickly enough on these very hardware demanding games. I would recommend buying a usb chat adapter for your headset. I have one from HyperX Fury and it’s very nice.
