You guys aren’t done with this are you?
Like for once I actually want to pay for more content, and Tactics is so much fun. Please tell me you’re not just done and simply doing updates.
I hope we get to expand on the weapon loadouts too. Maybe even a Convoy defense mission like Horde mode, and building defenses.
Been asking about an expansion since Gears 4 to be honest and never got an answer. Most likely won’t get an expansion for Gears 5 even though they could really make something good with Fahz and JD after what happened with the Hammer of Dawn.
considering how shallow this game is, i would really hope they plan on adding more. Either heroes, customizations, weapons, or classes. I’m enjoying this but after doing things like Shadowrun and X-Com, this just feels like it’s missing a major chunk of content. I keep stripping down the unusable recruits, pointlessly, since there’s no crafting or selling of their gear.
Gears Tactics and not Gears5 
It’s a great base they’ve built, I wouldn’t call it shallow. I’d call it solid. It’s a solid foundation they’ve built, I want them to expand with more depth to the strategy layer, and missions types.
I’d hope we get to upgrade the convoy, build defences. The Locust didn’t once try to destroy the convoy, seems a bit foolish since the Locust are far more the aggressors than the COG are.
I’d also appreciate more bosses and encounters. I’d like to see Corpsers again in a free roaming capacity rather than a static boss. Berserkers with the hammer of dawn as a tool now. Those weird centipedes I forget their names.
Hivebuster DLC has been hinted at over the past couple of months.
This confused me too but the thread is about a Tactics expansion, not Gears 5.
I think that wasn’t confirmed nor denied. I’m pretty sure it’s unlikely though. It’s not really hints or teases more just leaks. But in Gears 4’s history leaks were almost always false.
Also this is a Tactics thread.

I wouldn’t hope for much. They did say that they would do something special when it comes to Xbox. But if I had to guess it won’t be more than another hero cameo like Cole.
Honestly, at least that’d be something. I’d love to have more cameos. I’d like to see old Delta in a tactics game. ■■■■ man anything with Dom again.
Yea he does mention tactics but I figured it was for Gears 5 and he said tactics is fun
This game could definitely go deeper in terms of customization. They’ve built a very polished foundation and should 100% plan on building on it. Customization, classes, or new game modes … any DLC to make this game feel replayable. Its the kind of game I’m ready to find any reason to come back to. There isn’t a strong modding community out here, so we’re stuck to waiting/begging for the devs to bring us more content
