Exactly.

I’ve never seen teleporting at all in Gears 5 until the new tuning went active.

Also getting insane spikes.

20ping-1000ping type of spiking.

Getting fed up of being kicked out of a ranked match due to servers and losing gp some games are fine others are a laggy buggy mess becoming unplayable

I think I was just in your game on harbour got kicked out by servers was a laggy buggy almost unplayable match

I played a couple of koth games tonight, an absolutely awful experience.
Constant packet loss, insane sponge and hits were not registering. All my teammates had these issues.
After 1 hour the only thing I got is frustration basically, and I even lost my Master rank.
The servers have definitely a ton of problems in these days.

Any updates on the solution? Still not playable today in some matches. My ping usually sticks at 30ms. Today I see this:

After that I got kicked, came back and it was much better

I’m glad you also mentioned this, it is in my original post but I always seem to get the issue whenever Harbour is the map of choice, don’t get me wrong it happens on others, but I don’t think I’ve played one match on harbour without this… could be coincidence though

Hi all. Have been experiencing a recent issue while match making and curious if others may have had similar experiences.

I customarily play quick match king of the hill, solo queue, but not sure if this matters necessarily. I usually get into a match fairly quickly and don’t seem to experience issues beyond the normal inconsistencies during the game. However, after the match ends and the voting is complete for the next round, the game enters the “loading map” phase and then proceeds to hang there until I have to dashboard and restart the game.

Occasionally it makes it past “loading map”, goes to “intermission”, and it’s a fifty - fifty chance from there as to whether or not the game crashes again. If it makes it to the next match, I’ve experienced at times an odd ten second repeating spawn timer where I’m not able to enter the match and have to restart the game. Very strange to say the least.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, reformatted the console to factory settings, and have tried the usual cache clearing exercises as well. Would very much appreciate your thoughts and if others have seen similar oddities. I suspect this may be connected to the recent server irregularities (and actually hope that’s the case to be honest) but not entirely sure.

Was about to start my own thread about the servers being bad but I’m glad to know it’s already been addressed by @TC_Kilo1062 and is being actioned.

Here’s what I’ve noticed since the 12.0.1 update

(I’ve been using an Elite Series II wired to an Xbox Series X with an ethernet connection)

-all modes: ping fluctuating into the 1000s for brief moments

-all modes: strange delays on weapon fire (really noticeable with the Gnasher, Snub, and Markza)

-all modes: constant rubber banding during matches regardless of the ping

-Quickplay: matches won’t load the players when the round starts

-Arcade: constant packet loss causing other players to appear to be running into walls, “seemingly random” deaths, and ring position, timer, and scores to not display correctly in blitz.

-Arcade: no countdown to spawn and stuck spectating

-Arcade: player will spawn but stuck looking the stat screen (they can emote and swap weapons)

-Arcade: Player models not loading and displaying the animation rig instead (Pepsi man)

Appreciate the feedback, the quickplay not loading players is what I think I’m experiencing. I’m hopeful that it gets resolved quickly, as it can be quite frustrating to have to reboot the game constantly.

I did tweet about this earlier but we’ve now done the following so far

We took some initial steps at the end of last week to try and address the stuttering lobbies in Versus lobbies first.

We’re continuing to monitor the changes and if we feel these have worked we can begin to propagate to PvE.

just had the worst Horde Match on Vasgar because my Ping was everywhere between 10-1800 it went from unplayable for 30secs to 10 secs where everything was normal.

Cheers mate for the responses and for keeping us updated on what’s being done, it really makes a big difference!

I’ll be hitting up some versus later to see how everything is performing.

Unfortunately not, I’ve been playing a lot since the new tuning came out, it’s since the title update last week

Try to continually fire a snub or markza and you’ll notice that often mid clip it’ll just stop firing (I’ve tried this on multiple xbox’s and controllers)

As for the Gnasher, it’s usually on the first trigger pull after a respawn (even when standing still)
