Anyone miss some classic weapons?

So I’ve been replaying the old gears games with someone who hasn’t played them and they played gears 5 before that and he asked me why the classic weapons like the breech shot or the original hammerburst and more are gone. Why wouldn’t TC just put them in back in op 1 why now?

Well my dude,

If you are looking for Hope that it could happen, just look at them adding in the Scorcher to the game. This is the first time any Gears game has added in a “New” weapon after the game was fully released.

I truly commend TC on this, I hope this continues down the road. To have the “One Shot” or the “Booska” in the game would be great. Especially since the Booska is a UIR weapon and they have so many UIR skins already, it would be pretty cool.

As a long shot, The “Digger” would be fantastic to use.

But to answer your original question, Gears 5 was released way to early and they are still working on a lot of bugs. So maybe in time, we can see more weapons become available from the classics.

Bring back the Booshka and tripwire bow. Judgment wasn’t the greatest game in the franchise but the boosh was certainly a fun weapon to play.

Future power weapons?

So I guess TC gave us a cheeky lie when they said they wouldn’t be adding any weapons to Gears 5 Because lone behold the scorcher flamethrower has made its fiery return!!! If they do plan on adding anymore weapons to the game, what would everyone like to see? I’d personally like to see the ‘Hammer of dawn’ & ‘Mortar’ return, for me if I was to name the two weapons that brought the “WAR” in Gears of war it’d be these two gems… Sorry if I stole your idea…

Theres no doubt more to come, because I don’t think they can really stop at the scorcher now as it be unfair on other requests for weapons.

Well with Classic Horde spawning (hopefully it’ll come back again soon) we need our boomshields to block bits off.

Booshka has been mentioned several times on here, and rightly so. Not as powerful as the Boomer, but bending your shots is absolutely freaking awesome. In tandem with the Class giving Ammo recharge, along with any other Class that has Ammo regen as a Perk, you are well on the way to fun city. Also, i could see this replacing the JD Class for definate.

As for me, i have always had a thing for the Boom Shield.
