Not excited at all. Being a fan of gears since the beginning and played all of them. Not a fan of pvp and didn’t like other horde modes before. I know many of you don’t like this horde system in Gears 5 but I love it! I got all my characters on 18 and most cards are nearly on 5. If the system changes than it would of been a great waste of my time. For me it’s kind of a win win situation. If it changers I can finally stop wasting my time on this game and play something else. If it doesn’t…well I guess I play on and keep enjoying it.
Maybe TC will introduce a different horde mode (like frenzy or jingle juries) where you can just use all the cog characters without the abilities or cards like in GOW 2&3…IDK?

Eh I still need the power for Jack and like 3k eliminations ( both too high imo considering everything else is done in said categories. I would play PVP but theres no Guardian and they are remaking the ranked system so no point in playing for that

I believe it when I see it. What are they even gonna write for cards that outright don’t work. “■■■■ off”?
Any wave ending in 6. Skips wardens. Gives you more cash to level up sentries.

The idea of roles choosing any card they want from the other characters(except for the ability cards)seems like a pretty smart idea.Then at the very least Kat will actually be good for something because as of right now every level 18 Kat I’ve played with has tremendously sucked any generally speaking every Kat whatever level they are has been terrible.
Not excited, if Operation 4 doesn’t deliver big-time, that’s a huge red flag that this game is on life support and the plug needs to be pulled.

Honestly Operation 4 will probably be the worst one (aside from 1 cause they put campaign skins in that one)
No new modes, the change in direction wouldnt have taken effect in time
Only upside could be the tour rewards so heres hoping they’re good
On a side note Operation 5 will probably be the best one
The tour awards would be full of more garbage bloodsprays, Marks, Banners and weapon skins broken up in 3 seperate tour unlock ranks taking up space for other thing that should be there just like they did with the 3 seperate unlock ranks for the Ink, Locust Runes and Liquid Metal skins
I’ve run into maybe two useful Kats in the hundreds of hours I’ve sunk into PVE. They almost always instantly build sentries with any available power and if they ever do craft a locker, it’s a lvl 1 that they use to recharge their f****** Enforcer.

Gears 3 had better maps post-launch and most new original maps. Gears 4 only had 3 new maps the rest were remakes (I’m not counting Glory as a new map because it’s a worse map remake attempt of Thrashball)
I am only wanting them to drop the updated Honor experience so I can get those two achievements out of the way.
Otherwise, I hope and pray with every update that new achievements are not added to this game so I never have to boot it up again…

I think TC is adding more specifically for PvE. I vaguely recall something like that getting mentioned as part of a dev stream.
I honestly don’t think they’ll be worth bothering with. Gears 4 makes me have no illusions. Chances are it’ll just be recycled things for stuff we have already done.
What can we say?Enforcers do the instant kill damage.Next gun to be added in “THE ALLFATHERS ENFORCER”or”THE GOD OF SERA”.
I’m expecting not a fkn thing to be honest. They haven’t done anything big yet, sure can’t imagine they’ve come this far and thought they need to hit a homerun for their fans
