Ay the end cheaters recieve rewards… Like Ektope as an example TC had to say well you got the first re up 50 congrats but unfortunately you didn’t get it from a legal way that why your re up will be restarted… But no they gifted the moderator role at this forums huh Soo ironic

Ektope didnt cheat, Ektope used a game mechanic, Yes eventually TC changed hows ribbons worked because of that so you could call it an exploit, but at the end of the day it was no different than farming the multikill ribbons in juvie maddess in gears 4 horde.
Also Ektope was moderator long before gears 5 launched.

I know what you mean but technically @Ektope didn’t cheat. He used an exploit which still required a very long grind. This however is a cheat if there ever was one.

Outside of this obvious cheat which OP posted, I would appreciate if you could take a look at one of my threads that I posted which also break the time runs (mainly due to meatshields):
Me and my team have been running for #1 times primarly in OP3 and also at the beginning of OP4 and therefore stumpled across a few glitches and things that are important to know for time runners that at least I wish to be addressed.
Obviously the CoG duplications is the biggest out of them all and now completely set me off doing these runs anymore. But those things I mentioned in my thread would be nice to be corrected too.

Thanks for weighing in mate. I might have missed your thread regarding all the glitches in escape. I completely agree with all the things you brought up. The RNG is completely off and the way some enemies die or don’t die is extremely annoying. We always use the meatshield but never have used the active longshot head shot thing.
It would be nice to see a level playing field amongs score runners without all BS. I was really enjoying the runs even though it took ages to get things right. It was fun and when things came together it was rewarding.

Yea, we enjoyed it too until we discovered the what we call ALHM. There were some battles between us and the team of thamount but it really got on the nerfes just having to ALHM EVERYTHING to get that. It’s not even fun, just outright stupid.
Then of course lvl 6 cards came along and everything was for nothing. And due to this CoG Tag exploit, it makes everything a lot worse. I apprechiate that you published it though. I knew it was possible a long time ago already but never figured out how exactly. At least now I know there’s no point in running for #1 position.

Well if I didn’t bring it up someone eventually would have.
It’s disappointing and in a way sad the whole state of the game. It seems every time I start enjoying something in the game it gets ruined. It’s a shame I got into escape so late though. It’s by far my favourite mode and I’ve been a horde player all along.

thank you for bringing this to our attention and making this public. The problem though is that TC is notorious for their ■■■■■■ customer support and it will probably take them ages to address this (if the address this issue at all that is).
Like CommanderCH posted above, we as a team are done doing score runs for good. We’ve never even contemplated doing disgusting ■■■■ like this but it was quite obvious to us when we saw the recent score run on the LE (those idiots literally busted themselves because even if you play that hive absolutely flawless and meatshield everything that time is not achievable playing it cleanly). I don’t really get it why people have to resort to cheating in PVE?

Well said brother! We just tried to do a run on LE and did it almost flawless with a good time. That’s when we truly realised what BS the top time is.

The sad thing is, these people will likely be praised and put on a pedestal.
Wether it was the ribbon exploit in horde (death from beyond), the escape idle exploit or the blatant use of cheating devices to run automated scripts to re-up or whatever else, these people will still be looked at as “great players”. I’m almost certain they’re using the same methods to cheat the versus achievements in private versus matches.
I’ve got a few people on my friends list that are high reups ( one has been re-up 50 for a while). With an escape survival rate of less than 5% and less than 200 horde completions.
The achievements will continue to be set around these people’sbehaviours, making it almost impossible for anyone to 100% the achievemtents through healthy and fun play. I thought the achievements on 4 were bad but i managed to get those done in about 8 months.

The community can be pretty unforgiving. Majority of players who know the game and how it works will know that these people got to the top by non-legit ways. No self respecting player would look up or praise these people for what they do. Regardless we all do things in different ways and try to achieve them in different ways.
The achievement hunters can be a crazy mob and will do whatever it takes to get those achievements. I don’t mind that as it doesn’t really hurt the rest of us, it’s their time and what they do with it is their business.
I feel like this heck/glitch is a totally different ball game. People are wasting their time to get a top score that’s impossible to achieve under normal gameplay.
