Flashbangs, melee range, lancer and gnasher damage, matchmaking - every game is a struggle with how its matching teammates.

My main complaints:

  1. Slow movement, momentum/delay on strafing. it all feels “stiff” and clunky
  2. Reverse omen that takes too much screen space and make visibility really limited.
  3. Auto aim/bullet magnetism plus slow movement plus limited visibility after taking hit make shotty situations short, boring and annoying
  4. Walking along the wals while in cover is bugged and you sometimes walk really slow (when your movement stick is even just a little directed in wall direction)
  5. Flash granades range and they (their? sorry for my english) ability to blind you even if they go off behind camera/your back (they should only stun you in that situations imo)
  6. I also dont like shotgun. It gibs almost only with sawed off range and it deals too much damage from range (a lot of this is also frustrating because it’s hard to avoid with slow movement and bullet magnetism)
  7. I hate Gears 5 maps outside of District, Exhibit (for execution, sucks for objective) and Training Grounds. Gears alwas had pretty good maps and it hurts. Also small number of maps.

Or how about this, you get into one but your character changes to a low level character on Insane and the match starts immediately with no time to change character or even leave?

In the past 5 days, every time I tried to start the game, it put me through initialization - brightness, safe zones, Boot Camp, et cetra. It does NOT have my profile or game save. When I quit from boot camp, there’s a 50% chance of GW502.

This shouldn’t be what a normal game or a normal cloud service does.

  1. This atrociously unlikable hero-shooter system for Horde and Escape still exists.

  2. This Tour of Duty system is still offensively grindy for a full price game.

  3. Store prices are still obscenely greedy and, again, offensive to any consumer with self respect. Four dollars for a Boltok skin? F**k off.
