Characters were locked behind paywalls and grindwalls in 4, too. Not sure why people expected any different.
I’m sure it would be fairly easy to do but greed beats everything.
Well wouldn’t you feel sheepish if you paid for a character in 4 and have to buy it again in 5…

They better not try to resell all the ■■■■ I already bought in gears of war 4 to me again because there is no reason they couldn’t have ported all of it to gears 5
