I wouldnā€™t call it old if it still manages 60 FPS on Gears 5. Still seems to me as if thereā€™s some difference between playing on my X and that video. Perhaps not big but it seems so. Or maybe itā€™s just an illusionā€¦

There is definitely a difference. I have a X too connected to a 4K LG oled TV but on the PC everything looks smoother and nicer.

I had to play on a 60hz monitor the other day as I awaited a replacement for my monitor. I have been playing at 144fps for so long it made 60fps feel like a flip book and my eyes could never adjust. Now that Iā€™m back up to 144fps my eyes are thanking me, lol.

I know that feeling. Iā€™m using a 144hz monitor too but some times I have to use my old 60hz monitor. But after 1 day gaming you get use to it.

I was able to get used to it after a few days but by then my 144hz arrived. The smaller size + 60hz with less brightness wasnā€™t ideal to say the least.

Iā€™m switching from a 60hz 24ā€ 1080p TN monitor to a 144hz 27ā€ 2k IPS and itā€™s like ā€œgoing back to the futureā€ lol

Youā€™ll love it. Iā€™m on a 27ā€ IPS 4K monitor and itā€™s gorgeous. Granted, I play at 1440p but the Certified HDR1000 was necessary so I bought it.
