That could be an aspect of arcade horde mode.
A toggle for fortifications/cost/increase over time similar to power mod could be one of the many customization options.

Yes. ME 3 is still playable on PC and Xbox one/360. You just have to make sure you down ALL of the DLC maps which are FREE, otherwise it won’t work.
I was just playing and streaming ME 3 for Xbox last weekend and had no problem finding lobbies.

Are you DLing it for Xbox or PC?
I am so tempted to get it for PC and mess with the controller modding because it really is a smoother experience for PC. That 60 fps makes a big difference.
I am also enjoying Andromeda’s PVE though I admit ME 3’s is better overall, IMO.
For Xbox, I don’t have a pc unfortunately. I love the sound of modding and customizing further…but yea, Xbox only.
Never tried andromeda’s pve, didn’t realize there was one. I was so put off by the campaign that I put the game down after about 5/6 hours and never played it again.
I really like Andromeda’s PVE. Mainly because it’s a lot smoother and quicker paced over ME 3. But overall I’d say ME 3 PVE is better. I still haven’t played the Campaign as I have a huge backlog and have been mostly playing PVE/Horde from various games.
