I usually play only control and before some days ago played on Allfathers Arena when I was thinking maybe should throw my xbox out the window or delete the Gears forever. Because it was terrible match. I played same like always. But shot the enemy and literally nothing happened. I meant like I would shot the wall. I died continuously but enemy seemed like can’t die. Like someone has twice more hp than should. End of the match I had 5 kills with 23000 damage and only some assist I got and enemy has 28, 26 kills with 15000 damage. Yesterday played on Reclaimed and all was same. Two guys couldn’t die but I had too high damage. Too much. My friend on my team msgd me after and said its crazy I had that damage without a lot of kills or assist. Can someone explain me why is this?

I second this. Gears 5 gives me migraines. Even the mere thought of playing this game gives me an upset stomach.

@SnubbbS either op a had game similar to the one you had the other night, or the nade glitch was put to use
Yeah I know sometimes frag can do high damage when it is in your hand and someone down you then you detonate it but I couldn’t just touch frags either in these games. 
I know everyone has bad games. Sometimes I don’t do as much damage as I thought I should have.
Since the most recent update, it’s easier for enemies to bot walk since the “chunk zone” was increased and kill you by the time you get another shot off.
Gears 5 is strange, but you shouldn’t let a few games make you possibly delete it. I always have fun playing and AllFathers might be the best map in the game.
I’m going with nade glitch over OP being the best support player in the game.
I’d assume that it’s this grenade glitch being mentioned as it’s in the OP that they had this high damage without many kills or assists.

The registration of the gnasher is terrible. There are games where it works flawlessly, but more often than not you can brick them without anything happening or 84-88% in 1. This kid spewing idiotic responses is on PC and does nothing but cross. He has no idea about the gnasher. Gears are the only games I play, and Gears of War 4 is much better when it comes to hit registration. You may try that and see if you better enjoy your time on. You could always buy a PC and lancer constantly to claim you’re good though, works for some.

I didn’t think it seriously when I said delete it. I just got mad. I’m not as good as I’d like to be but try to improve and love this game more than I could just once delete it. Simply was weird and didn’t understand why they can’t die and why I have those high damage with some kills only. Still can’t understand it.
No, shots definitely don’t seem to correctly register sometimes.
