It worked in Horde. Cry about not being able to build as a Scout, JD or any other non Engineer, and you will get your wish.
I mean it is so bloody simple in it, if you want to build, play an Engineer. If you do not want to build, then do not play as an Engineer. if you want an Engineer in your team, get one. If not, do not not.
Maybe The Coalition do not want you to have friends in Gears 5 ???

Ha, well as a primarily Solo player myself I can relate to that. Trust me.
Winning 2-3 matches only to have your progress practically reset by one defeat that was down to a useless team.

That was pretty much my main gripe with the old ranking system. You can perform so well for multiple matches and barely go up. Then you have one loss and all that work meant nothing.
Sometimes being a sheep isn’t the way forward. It’s good to vent frustrations. Let’s be honest about it TC have so much to answer for. They are AWFUL !!!

I’ve got no issue with calling out things wrong in the game. Just don’t think swearing and insults are the best way to do it as that more likely leads to things being ignored.
Totally agree matchmaking is broke across the board!! TC are a joke at this point! Nearly a year as passed an they still have a game full of bugs an glitchs!!!
It takes like 5 to 7 mins to get a match in ranked free for all which compared to cod or most other shooters is embarrassingly slow!! I honestly think they need to fix ranked an quickplay to 3 stack max!! 5 stacks just kill the fun factor! If you wanna play 5 stack then go play horde in my opinion!!
In GoW4 i was trying to rank up, wanted to see how high i could get, so i was stressed by these things.
In G5, i DGAF, i am enjoying playing as a bronze, i dont care if i drop down because the guys i have fun playing with arent all awesome players, etc, etc…
I can respect that people who care about their G5 rank would be driven crazy by this system (like i was driven crazy by GoW4 sometimes), but honeatly, the stupidity of chainsaw controls pisses me off waaaay more than the ranking system here…

for some reason they changed matchmaking from taking the average Rank of the team to whoever has the highest Rank.

I’ve been told interim Ranks don’t matter.
the games doesn’t see a difference between Onyx 1 or 3. it treats you as a Onyx and since it will pair you with any Rank above or below you can get match-ups like this.
if this is false then you need to bring it to TC’s attention.

seriously. Last three 5 stacks I played solo we won. It does feel a little nicer. I’m sure they are thinking they are going to destroy us and are a bit surprised when they get wrecked.
As much as it is a good feeling, it shouldn’t happen as often as it does but I do wonder whether it’s always been this way, we just never knew.
