Hello fellow Gears,
I just got suspended for 4 hours after I got kicked once to get up to grab a drink… This doesn’t seem right, has anyone else experienced something like this?
I assume this was a Ranked Match, No I’ve never experienced such things, in fact I usually try to get my drinks and such before match or during the loading to avoid this.

Yes it was ranked, I think the suspensions are a bit too long, granted it was my second of the day but still, sometimes you have to quit or step away and I think an hour suspension would of been more than enough
4 hours isnt enough for quitters.

You got up to get a drink, which you could have and should have taken care of before queueing a ranked match. And if it’s your second of the day then…yeah bro, that’s 18 other people you ruined a game for. You earned it. I get that sometimes sh*t happens. I got DCed today and couldn’t get back in and got hit with 30 minutes. I didn’t like it but it happens. But twice in a day for a controllable thing, that’s a paddlin’.

Seriously tho, you’re not gona make alot of friends here admitting to quitting more than once in your whole life. If your house is on fire, anything less that 30% 2nd degree burns wasn’t enough to abandon a RANKED match

If it was really an energency situation that hapoened I don’t see problem.
Before you get to ranked, try prepare yourself, get what you need. It’s not hard.
If you aren’t certain that you can play whole match without quitting, don’t start it. It would be healthier to all of us.
If you get disconnected from match, just save a clip and submit a ticket, sometimes (but thats very, very, very rare) quit message contains helpful info what caused.

I mean I got suspended for 32 hours for getting removed from a ranked match for literally no reason; no I didn’t lose connection and no I wasn’t AFK-it literally just removed me mid-match with no option to rejoin.
This issue happens to me multiple times a week and never is it my own fault–my wifi never shuts-off, I never quit, and I’m never removed for inactivity; I’m just constantly removed for no reason with no rejoin option.

Constantly removed from gm yet its not ur fault, surley if everyone was constantly removed from gm there would be nobody playing.
Im wired and not once have i been “removed” from gm.

Uh, I made a thread about this. And there is server issues going on that many people are experiencing; this issue has been addressed by TC.
I have excellent wifi which I use and need for my courses for college–it hardly ever disconnects and if it did then I would know.
If you do not experience these issues then good for you because my friend doesn’t either (not everyone is I guess?), however, my friend and I both know plenty of people that we play with who all go through this same exact issue. I even have had people whiteness this happen to me and other squad-members while we all remain talking in party-chat.
If you don’t believe me then fine because I do not really care. I have been penalized so many damn times for something that I have no control over; furthermore, so many people other than me have brought-up this same issue.
This has literally happened to me so many times where I am then immediately able to search for another match as soon as it disconnects me unless I get suspended–never is it my wifi.
If you truly care this much then I can try to record it next time it happens to me, but I hardly play ranked anymore because of this; I never have this issue in quickplay. Believe it or not but this happens to me and many other people.

Sorry if you don’t believe me; not really sure what else to tell you because I would know if these disconnects were my fault seeing as I know the difference in the results of these situations–these random disconnects happen to me and others all the time–look into it I guess.
That’s all I got left to say at this point if you can’t take my word for it.

I’ve been randomly disconnected from ranked games many times over the years with most gears games, and not just ranked.
It hardly ever happens solo tho, mainly when ever I’m in a party
It happens to me whether solo or not, and this issue has been very consistent since the new operation.
Look on the brightside mate, you’ve got consistency at least

Near the bottom of this page:
where is says “Updates and Ongoing Fixes”, it briefly addresses this issue.
