Even if i stay away 10 meters the ground smash almost always kills me. Sometimes it does not. Nothing is consistent in this game

This game is so bad. You can’t have a shotgun fight without getting lancered. You can’t solo queue without running into a stack. You get melee’d from 10 feet away. Shotguns are inconsistent. Sometimes you chunk someone. Sometimes you get 96. Sometimes you get one shot chunked from far away.
I hate this game.
And of course…i queue up solo literally a second ago and…

What you fail to understand is these people have been playing since gears 1. They are the ultimate vets who have nothing but flawless games. Obviously it’s never their fault when they die and rare occasions they do die it’s because of cheap OP weapons like that

he’s a TC EMPLOYEE , this person its on job schedule and on their pay roll.
everytime he tries to put our spirits down, he gets food stamps and double shift time . plus 100 dollars an hour.

Everytime man someone throws garbage on Gears 5 , his main job its to say something sardonic to put you down and to remember you that people still going to play gears 5 … its his main duty at his job… he has to do that in order to earn the 100 dollars an hour that TC deposits on his bank account. .

I dont mind losing to a power weapon. The problem is the health boost you get from holding the mace. Thats the problem

My opinion is the same on this. Why the health boost?
Maybe it is because of the adrinaline, i also have that when holding a hammer or a mace i go berserk.
But serious. Nothing wrong with losing to all well timed smash of the mace but not from 10 meters away and after lancering the crap out of someone

I second this.
Without the health boost I don’t think it would be as good. You’re very visible while running with the giant glow stick and I already reverse 2-piece or just chainsaw a lot of bad mace users.
The ground slam would need to be slightly sped up to compensate if the health boost were to removed. Definitely agree that they should fix the wonky hit boxes tho
That could work, after all it is a power weapon so.
